CUPBOARD BROTHERS

I find working for Cupboard Brothers very different than anything I've done in my past.  They are not concerned about losing employees and in the past four months, there are only six employees that remain since I began.  There are more than 35 new faces in that short period.  I came from a position where there were only two people in 25 years that held the position I held.  The individual before me for 16 years and then myself for 9.
At Cupboard Brothers, there have been eight people in the past 14 months to hold my position.  I believe this speaks volumes for this organization.

I would not recommend this shop, poor management along with a overwhelming amount of arrogance. 
Broken tools/ machines barely holding together. Kitchen installs take 6 months because management can't get a complete build together in that time? Leaving costumers houses in a state of reno for the duration, Bouncing pay cheques...
All the good workers/ builders have left or have a foot out the door.
No benefits. 

It's a constant revolving door. It's amazing they can't figure it out honestly.

Coworkers and in shop supervisor are fantastic, great group of guys!


Lot of things to learn and this is a place where you can gain extreme knowledge about interior designing including residential and commercial buildings. Job security is the best thing about working at this company. Good skill set is must because most of the jobs require extraordinary efforts. Some jobs are quick so it gets challenging sometimes but good place to work if you like to enjoy working in a past faced environment.

Worst place to work. No raise just minimum wage .  Doesn't mater u have experience or not. Lot of politics. No respect for employees by management. Workers are just a number for this company. They want you to work free or overtime just on normal wages or to bank ur hours. Worst worst company to work.  Do not waste time to work with them. Everyone is manager here and owner. They just earn money no respect from a single employee.

I loved the people and staff, it was a good experience for me. I learned alot about the industry. Met alot of different type people of skill n race. Very diverse. I worked alot of positions and gained alot experience in a field I knew nothing about. But they are patient and teach as you progress along. It is a demanding job, but it teaches that hard work pays off.

Lots to learn working here. Fast paced and definitely not boring. Lots of room to advance and different jobs to be trained on. Lazy whiners need not apply. This is a production facility and will separate the men from the boys.

Work with Production to ensure we meet our on time delivery. Then setup the delivery and installation of that job. Working with the staff to make better processes to make things flow better for all parties involved.
Seeing the success of all our efforts

Work and coworkers were great, but management seemed to not care about anything.  They paid with cheque so you'd have to wait around to see if the owners decided to come out of the office to get paid on time.... most equipment was broken 

I had a great time working with company. nice people, good management and life balance on job. people are very helpful in all area. good learning place.

long hours with back breaking work. alot of stairs and managment is not great to workers when i was there most days start early and end late and always behind schedule
