At Cold Cold Lake Cadet Summer Training Centre or (CLCSTC) a typical day of being an instructor involves taking complete charge of the group of cadets you are assigned, meaning taking them to breakfast, to their classes and teaching them, outside to organize physical activities, lunch, supper, and conducting room inspections. The skills acquired at CLCSTC are life skills that are hard to learn but priceless in your life. The time management is definitely hard to getting used to but not ridiculously overloaded, with the hardest part of the job being having a positive and exemplar for the entire duration of the six to seven weeks no matter what situations are presented to you. Being physically active and passing along your knowledge to other motivated individual definitely in my opinion has to be the most rewarding and satisfying part of the job.

well there are classes and as a level 4 I will teach classes as well. we learn a lot about life and about airplanes and motors witch is something I really like. the people there are absolutely amazing they make you feel so welcome and wanted. I think the hardest part of cadets is the challenge to participate into everything even if your not good at it .the most enjoyable part of it is is the people the experience to see new things, new things come with new opportunity's.

Cadets is a very mind challenging activity/ responsibility. Not only did it challenge you mentally but it also challenged you physically. Cadets taught basic survival skill and also leadership skills. It teaches you simple life skills ranging from having proper time management as well as taking care and communicating with others. It is a very self indulging activity that requires a lot of your time. Overall, my experience as a cadets was very beneficial.

My favourite part of the work day, is the end of the day. Unlike most people who await this moment because they can’t stand work, I enjoy it because it’s the perfect time to look back. I can see what I’ve accomplished and how I can improve myself  to do better the next day. This feedback helps me to be the best version of myself and the most productive worker I can possibly be.

This isn't really a job, but a program that runs for children ages 12 to 18. As a senior cadet, I don't get paid, however officers get paid. We have lots of fun, learning about air related things like meteorology, engines, planes, survival, and more.

It was a volunteer job so i did not get paid for it, was a lot of hard work to stand at attention for long periods of time, learned about the military that I've never knew about before.

Very good experience with very smart discipline. It taught me a lot of things growing up and provided a very beneficial experience for me. I loved the people and got along well with them.

Being apart of cadets is a very big part of my life i enjoyed so much of it and wished i could of did more before aging out but it teach's you how to be honorable honest and very straight forward and you can come very disciplined.

Good for children ages 12 to 19, teaches you lifelong skill and is free to join. These kids will learn how to be a leader, how to deal with time management and how to problem solve while interacting with others.

it was a very nic expierence we learned how to shoot guns while laying down and certain survival skills before going out on field training excerises which was basically a 3 day camp.
