This was an outbound call centre that made customer service satisfactory calls for different US based companies like Toyota Financial. It was a very laid back job, once you learn the tricks of keeping people on the phone (its very easy). And I would get to talk to so many different people, it was very entertaining.

My supervisor Betty was the sweetest lady i have ever met and they were all very accommodating for students. Since it was a call centre people joined and left frequently but our supervisors were always very understanding. I loved that job and I would forever keep it but the centre in Halifax got shut down.

When someone told me about this job i thought they were joking, but i applied anyway. Its one of the most disorganized companies I've worked for. The supervisors wearnt very supervisory, more interested in flirting with employees. Often hearing about flings with supervisors and employees. You often delt with rude people on the phone and if you didnt meet your quota, they treated you badly. Avoid at all costs. The employees were super cool though and were in the same boat as you, just trying to pay the bills. I met alot of friends working there so that was a plus. The hours were ok. Depending on how good you did.

By far the most disappointing workplace where the individuals are blamed for not meeting targets due to the attitudes of the customer. Even after several training sessions, the customer attitudes do not change and the set-backs are again blamed on the individual. 

Management is rather rude, not understanding and very arrogant. Only thing I did learn about this job was enunciation which helped me alot later on with other things. Aside from all that, it was not easy to fit in to this form of job-culture, considering the numerous times I put in the effort.

I have worked independently for over a year to write or contribute to a biography for publication. I've learned a lot about Arizona in the writing about those travels and life history. The hardest part was being a personal navigator driving from Toronto to Tucson, and back. I am nearing completion of that project and seek part-time employment. I have been given plenty of flexibility to do that. The travel and flexibility has given me the most enjoyment.

The I dealt with the owner of the company himself I found that he was very easy to talk with and was very good to the workers and did whatever he could for us. During our talks together he showed that he cared for our feedback and he tried to comply to the best of his ability. The Call center only lasted for two years and closed for reasons beyond his control.

My typical day at work would look like.coming into the office going to the lunch room or cafeteria putting my lunch or snack in the fridge.then heading to my office and putting myvhandset free phone on.at first the hardest thing was how rude people can be but that s because they think its a telemarketer call.most enjoyable is talkinfg to different people and communicating with the rest of the world

I am in this position to help pay the bills. A typical day includes just clocking in and trying to get people to do surverys. Hardest day of the job is dealing with management who expect you to make the production rate and treat it like a sweatshop. Nothing enjoyable.

Mostly long hours and most of the projects we worked on the customer feedback was always terrible witch made it hard to keep them on the line.
Most enjoyable part would be my rebuttals getting better with the customer and keeping them on the phone to keep my production rate proper.

Working at Call Us Info was a very informative and experience getting job opportunity, one that I wouldn't miss in the world. All my former co-workers would agree with that as well.

Staff were great so easy to discuss with any issue we had / resolve problem easily and affectedly/ feel at ease at work/ good work ethic/ different culture staff/  positive work place / work pace and equipment easy to used.
