If I could be a camp councilor ALL year round, I would, and I would work at Camp Kennebec. The staff you work with are top notch amazing. The bosses are incredible and the campers make your life complete. A little piece of the Kennemagic comes home with you when you leave and you can't help but want to go back. I will work there every summer that I can because it is so amazing. 

Being able to watch a child struggle to complete something and then one day it just 'clicks' is the most amazing feeling in the world. Watching them so happy when they finally complete the task. Knowing you encouraged them to be the best version of themselves that they could be, its a really great feeling. APPLY! You wont regret it.

A safe and welcoming environment for all. This camp effectively caters to campers of all abilities to succeed and have a memorable time. Training week is fun, useful, informative, and a great way to become comfortable with the staff. You are well supported in the inclusive environment and make some amazing friends that last a lifetime. They bring the fun and then some and I love going back each year. Great place to work, volunteer, and attend!!!

This job is an amazing experience and I would recommend this job to anyone that has patience and a positive attitude! This job can be very challenging with the long hours and working with kids who have special needs but just as much as it is challenging it is 10x more rewarding! The positivity & magical feeling that this place provides is like no other ! 

If you are looking to break the monotony of daily life with a fun and rewarding summer position working amongst many gifted and differently able individuals while providing a summer camp experience for kids and teens of all ages this is THE place.

Over the summer I learned so much! The experience totally changed the career path I was on! Highly recommend working at Kennebec for an amazing experience, best way to spend a summer! 

i was a camper long before i was a an employee and both expierences were amazing. the staff are nothing but accomadating and friendly. never before have i felt so welcome in any of my other work expierences.

The camp has amazing co-workers and owners,  I loved the kids and it was a very clean environment.  Highly recommend as a camp and as a job. Could tell the kids were always having an amazing time.

if being outdoors and working in a fast paced job is your thing I would definitely reccomend working at Camp Kennebec. Met so many amazing people and am so grateful for the experience.

Wouldnt even call it working. I enjoyed every second at the camp over the march break. The management of the camp is very upbeat and caring and the camp itself is very clean.

6 days straight 1 day off. A lot of work, but memories forever. I'll never forget my time there.

Appreciate the down time when you get it because it is few and far between.
