Camp Walden

I would recommend Camp Walden to anyone looking to work with youth outdoors and seasonally. It is an Outdoor Education provider for Spring and Fall. They have been offering a traditional overnight Summer Camp for over 50 years.

Camp Walden was my first job as a teenager. It was a great stepping stool that allowed my to gain hard work ethics and taught me important communication skills. The hardest part of the job was working long hours on my feet in a fast paced environment. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting along with the staff and meeting new people,

Camp is a great place to learn about yourself, make lasting friendships and memories. The best part of camp is seeing the children grow, learn and have fun. Making connections with other staff is also incredibly rewarding and fun. Pay could be better, although cabins and food are provided, which is good. 

Camp Walden is located in a beautiful environment, well-equipped, there are lots of facilities available. You can work together with people from all around the world, although work is often stressful, and they don't pay much.

This place is a fantastic, fun, and peaceful place to work! The staff is amazing and so are the campers that attend this summer camp each and every year/

Eveyone should work at a summer camp in their early twenties. Fabulous life experience. Great fun, great people. Friendships for life.

I found the environment to be often unorganized and hectic despite my efforts to improve the situation. Many of the co-staff were incompetent and immature.

Loved every second of working with the positive, goal-driven people. Feels more like family than co-workers

It was a great experience and people that work there would tell u its a great time. You form new relationships with people and make it one of the best if not the best summer of your life.

Had a great experience at the camp with an amazing supervisor, Seth Cole. Camp grounds could use some updating to better serve both staff and campers.
