* A typical day at work: 
Get there, check in, grab the work orders you need to fulfill, do a forklift safety check, start working picking orders/unloading,loading containers. You will get all the hand bombing jobs that involve hand bombing items such as DOLE food cans, which you can find yourself most of the time hand bombing around 50~100+ cans depending on the order. The warehouse scanner system is also very old. There are many instances where it will kick you out for no reason or if you're picking an order and your're picking entire pallets of lets say "125" , it will send you to locations where there are only partial items, then eventually once you pick those partial items it will let you pick entire pallets again but then you would have to hand bomb more items onto the current pallet you are working on to make it a full "125".  This makes picking much more of a hassle and it takes more time to pick. In return you get told to hurry up picking and get scolded on by management, when in fact it's actually the entire warehouse management systems fault. 
*What you learned:
All I learnt was, people will abuse power to what ever extent they seem fit, to make the newer people working there have a horrible time, instead of helping them out. You will also be taught what the company is about.
*Management:
There are no supervisors, it's who ever is there the longest , is the one who's usually in charge. 
*Workplace Culture:
The workplace culture is mostly towards those who have been there a long time, it's hard for newer people to get the grasp of the workplace culture of this company.
*Hardest part of the job:
Being the newest person on the job, and feeling belittled by the seniors above you, they do teach you somethings and help you out from time to time, but you will still get the harder jobs no matter what and you will feel out of place. They'll tell you that they will give you an easier order/job to do, but in reality it's the opposite of that.
OVERALL: 
The company itself needs to review it's way on training new employees and need it really needs proper supervisors to keep everyone in check, so that no body abuses there seniority power.  The Warehouse system which the scanners use, need to be revamped or replaced, as it is hindering and effecting the performance of the employees who use it on a daily basis.The company would of been nice to stay in, if it didn't have these existing problems.

President is a visionary and business has seen tremendous improvement under his guidance and leadership. Fast paced environment and challenging at times which welcomed and rewarding with the team's help to find solutions. Great work culture. The ability for a boutique 3PL to manage all the supply chain challenges and still maintain service commitment is commendable and I'm glad to be a part of the team here.  

During my short time with this company, I am impressed with Leadership team and how supportive they are. 
They are planning to grow and heavily invest on people, systems and processes.
People are very supportive and open and willing to share knowledge.
They are operating in super competitive market with lower profit margins

Good company to work for. Union environment. I am a Union Shop Steward for 29 warehousemen. I am involved in Efficiency Group. I have been able to build a very good environment during my time. There is need off improvement in all areas, and the company is going in the right direction. I enjoyed working at CAT.

There is something new everyday. We have meetings everyday at 9:30 am with the President/CEO where the day's target are discussed. Any other issues affecting team members are also discussed

Fast growing company with lots of opportunities. This is a workplace that ideas and thoughts are valued. Fast-pace, ever-changing working environment that you will never be bored.

it is a fast pase job I am working for this employer for 30 years but it is closing soon it is hard work I have to make sure that all the trucks are onlonded from the staff

3rd party warehousing good place to work. Was able to get my account turned around with happy manger and all warehouse employees that were willing to work in my area without issues.

Professional, good opportunities, get to participate in a wide range of different areas such as conferences, travel, project launches, and a wide variety of other interesting activities.
