What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Bullying is an issue which never seems to be resolved even though it is supposed to be something that is frowned upon.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is a high pace place with lots of stuff to learn about which makes it nice , I like to soak in ,as much new knowledge as I can.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work the parts department, I help out 8 other branches as well as ours with the parts issues and questions as well as helping out techs ,welders and sales personnel .

Seemed like a great place. They tell you what you want to hear to keep you moving without any back up for it. Always try to get you to work on part of your approved booked days off and they can’t plan for someone to cover for you. Even if you have had time booked it f for months in advance every time a week or even days before your scheduled days off they’ll ask you when your days off are because the company has zero real structure. Manager does not have your back or even a hand in day to day jobs it’s all left for others to do. personally a Great person but a terrible boss. There’s absolutely no leadership only do this job and figure it out!!!!    

Reviewing all resumes, electronically and those that were dropped off at the office.
Enjoyed reading and figuring out who would be a good candidate to fit in with our company.
We were a Team and we needed to find those team players.
In addition, I also looked for those individuals who would want to learn and be trained for future positions within the organization.

My work experience at Canadian Dewatering LP was excellent and rewarding. I learnt a lot from top management to the front line worker. I was giving support and encouragement to grow through ranks. I learnt immensely from colleagues and coworkers. I enjoy absolute trust from my Manager and President of the company. I made progress very fast because I was determined to grow.

Job itself was not bad. In my 14 months being there learned a lot from my supervisor and co workers. Management is not the best, very disorganized. They will ask you to travel to places with a day notice, sometimes a couple days if you're lucky. They will tell you that a job will be 2 weeks, month, etc. but you're there for double the time. I got sent to a places that I was not comfortable to be in. They got a good crew in the Winnipeg branch nothing much else to say.

I had a lot fun with the training process of this company. The training courses were long and intense but extremely educational and the intructors were very knowledgable. I found after being put out in the field there wasnt too much to do. Shortly after, I found out that tasks were being completed without the proper procedures which evidently made it a unsafe workplace.

I worked there for approximately 4 months and ended up getting laid off due to the lack of work.
The crew was great, but everything else I heard from staff and clients was sad.
If you need work for a couple months go ahead, but its not a place for a career.

They promise a raise after 3 months, but instead I got a 7.5% pay cut after my second month (Because of the bad economy)

Canadian Dewatering is a good place to work. In a 13 hour day you would go in for the hot change the previous shift would tell you what is gioing on,Get the daliy paperwork done,Do your running checks, just watch for the remainder of the shift.also do any problem sloving if it is not running smoothly.working out in all the different wether.

Good place to work to make money if your at all good at your job don’t expect to be home much. Lots of days on the road 
 Pay is ok/ no pension or match rrsp benefits are ok 
Hr is non existent , worst part of the company is the managers . They don’t know how to manage people plain and simple only for them selfs . Everything including operations equipment is a after thought. 

You will get hired with a good wage they will honey pot you with hours for your first check then will cut your hours back ask any of the guys there how many checks theve  had that were small its disgusting i have to do door dash on my days off because they don't give you enough hours to cover basic living expenses. Min wage pays more
