I had worked for this company for over 10 years and in that time seen a lot of growth as well as a lot of changes. Most days were hard work and heavy lifting, but the hardest part of the job was anticipating your customers needs at any given time of the year  ie. ( truck season or ATV season ) and getting the product from head office without being questioned on the product I was bringing in or not bringing into my warehouse. Over the last few years they have started to micro manage which left me not feeling my judgement and experience  was not respected. No further growth was possible at my location hence I felt forced to part ways. Average pay but great benefits. I have no ill will toward this company and even sometimes miss the guys I worked with.   

As a driver you have to  load your own truck with completed orders on skids, if the orders aren't ready or can't be located in the warehouse you have to figure it out for yourself what to do. Sometimes you won't be get on the road until 1-2 hours after you should have initially, very unorganized and lack of communication between office and warehouse management and to warehouse workers. Having to argue with customers about taking their dead batteries back with you ( they say you get paid extra for bringing back dead batteries during your route but you don't). Warehouse workers were friendly and easy to work with but office staff doesn't have a clue what they're doing.

This was an amazing place to work with great co workers and superiors.
Very good benefits and policies.
However the company decided to downsize and after a 5 year journey ,during my 8 month of pregnancy myself and many others were laid off.
Unfortunately this came as a big life changing milestone for me ,as upon my maternity leave completion I was put in a situation to start from scratch with regards to employment .
I maintained a very good relationship with my former boss which also left the company ,in the past years he has given me various side projects to work on from home during my mat leave.

I have been with Canadian Energy since July of 2018 and I have enjoying working for the company. Always have been treated fair and respected.  Canadian Energy is a National Company with branches from Victoria to the Maritimes and there is multiple opportunities to advance your career.  I started in Regina and have since moved to the branch in Langley as the Senior Branch Associate.  Our company is growing and there is room for advancement no matter of race, gender or physical stature.  Come work for Canadian Energy and join our amazing team.

False promises, NO OVERTIME PAY, you will be working LOTS of unpaid overtime while on the road. Underpaid for the work you will be doing, Undervalued, The time away from home compensation is a joke. Your reimbursement for travel pay will be late by MONTHS. Travel is the worst and best part of the job. If you have or want a social life outside of work I strongly don’t suggest this job for you.

This job starts off daily with a positive attitude from all team members, everyone comes to work with a smile. The job I have can be quite physical, no need for a gym membership. But the rewards are as follows: great pay, one of the best managers I’ve had in years, great equipment, great support, good customers, safety minded corp. I feel positive each day I go to work. 

I have been with Canadian Energy for just over 3 years and I wouldn't recognize the business from the day I started. All aspects have grown from sales to management to employee numbers. Personal growth in company is available as long as you apply yourself. fair competitive salaries. Management encourages new ideas to make more efficient and positive workplace.

Avoid this branch unless you are a white male. As long as you fall in the category of "Other" you will be made to feel as though you should be thankful for being hired. No pay increases or incentives. Cheapest management possible. Most you get is a used pen. Discrimination is felt and you will only come across as xomplaining

Prepare to be under paid and over worked. There is a reason that they are always hiring and cannot retain staff. 
Have a family life? No you dont
Have extracurricular activities? No you don't
