Working at CHCA has been amazing. Having a positive work environment with supportive co-workers and management has helped to boost my self confidence and encouraged me to continue learning and furthering my career. Everyone at the CHCA office loves to have fun and make the best of every day. The team is close-nit and truly feels like a family. 
I am honoured to be part of this company and be able to help those in the communities we serve. We have a group of amazing nurses who are always professional and dedicated to their jobs.
There has been a lot of growth in the past few years and more to come. It is exciting to be part of the process and see the company grow and continue to expand. 

I was worried about leaving my previous job as the people were great but I have to say CHCA is an amazing company with a great work environment, I definitely made a great choice.  Everyone is very helpful and we all work together as a team.  There are amazing incentives and they hold team building activities often.   They work with you to ensure your success within the company and are always open to new ideas should you have any.  Its a very busy fast paced company which I love.  Management is kind and caring.

In clinic for 0800, answer phones,  review lab work, make appointments for day, draw blood for chronic conditions, pre-natal assessments, Diabetic health teaching, well woman, man or child assessment. Sometime conflict with client's expectation of care and time frame. Lots of variety with work, never get bored for sure. frustrating at times dealing with on-call  doctors.

I work outside the of the office.  The management staff is highly efficient.  The work that I do requires traveling outside of the city and being away for a period of time.  The downside is that I am away from family and that is the hardest part of the job for me.  The most enjoyable part of the job is that I get to meet interesting people on my trips and make some lasting friendships.

I have been with CHCA for 17 plus years and have never had a reason to look elsewhere!!  The support staff are supportive, caring, understanding and always available when needed. Nursing in remote areas is extremely rewarding for those looking for adventure, travel, meeting new friends, wider scope of practice… it is a career change that I love and embrace.  
I can honestly say, I have nothing negative to say about this agency. They have served me well for many years!!

Management of this company was more concerned about the money they make off their employees rather than their employees themselves.  Money grabbers who made sure their money was top priority than having any kind of caring, empathy or support for their staff.  A company that behave like parasites towards their employees.  Did not care about family crisis or issues employees were faced with while out on assignments and minimally made an attempt to get employee out reasonably.

CHCA is a company that I am happy to be a part of.
Knowing what our mission is makes it all that rewarding.
During my years here, I have seen such a positive balance in the company as well as amazing changes that has branded us uniquely as a company and team.
A company where it provides open and regular communication, listens and considers new ideas and continuously encourages growth.
IT’s a place where you don't feel like YOU’RE working and that your coworkers are family.


CHCA is a very supportive agency. They provided me with unlimited learning experiences to enhance my skills and increase my knowledge. The employer made us all feel we were part of a family. They were always available to provide information or to solve any problem. I will strongly recommend this agency to any nurse willing to work in remote areas. 

Working in remote areas provides new opportunities for learning, increasing knowledge and understanding of nursing  care practices. It enables nurses to work in an environment that fosters nurse-client relationships using compassion, empathy and exceptional nursing care.

Great work environment. Adventures and learning experiences. The travel is extensive. Anatomy at is best. Always a different experience.
