While work days can be demanding at times, there is always someone there to support you and to remind you to take a break and remind you that we are a team.

The company has grown significantly but the family values and support I felt when I first started here with less than 10 people is still very much present.

This place is ok but there's a large disconnection and a lot of inconsistent performers in the ranks. The loudest voices seem to dominate vs. those who provide the most value. Some execs are stretched thin while others nobody seems to know what they do. There isn't much of a culture, positive or negative, beyond what those who wish that was different say... ie. we are a champion of women- yeah you hire women, beyond that I'm not clear on what is so great for women working here vs. anywhere else.

I truly loved my experience at CMI and am grateful for the opportunities and growth I had during my five years there. The only area I’d suggest improving is the offboarding process,  it could be handled with more empathy and personalization. After so many years of dedication, I expected a more considerate approach, especially given that my departure was not performance-related but rather a working notice. Not hearing from my manager during that time was disappointing, and I believe a simple acknowledgment or message of appreciation would have made a big difference.

My experience with CMI over the past year has been wonderful!  They are growing very quickly and there are opportunities for advancement if you are interested in taking initiative.  The Management and Executive team are supportive and always give credit where credit is due.  They understand work life balance and support their team members accordingly.  After almost a year working here, I still believe I made the correct choice for my career and overall lifestyle.

Canadian Mortgages Inc is a great place to work if you are looking for a challenge as well as a place that allows you time to take care of your personal life. 

Management is there for you to guide you and teach you along to way. They provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all its employees.

I look forward to work every day! It's interesting, I feel productive and really enjoy learning. I work from home but always have the ability to contact others by phone, email, or video. I am very well supported by my colleagues and feel very appreciated!

Solid management team. Very good underwriters. Overall, good place to work for sure. The sales territory was not divided very well. It made it hard and a bit confusing to do my job effectively.
