Working at the Canadian Canola Growers Association has been an incredibly rewarding experience over the years, especially as a member of the finance team. What stands out most to me is the supportive leadership culture and the genuine investment leaders make in employee growth and success.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Teamwork is essential in any office environment and CCGA demonstrates this absolutely.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I worked remotely and often felt left out on the daily functions and in-office activities such as special days and meetings.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
CCGA is very diverse and inclusive in al aspects.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As I stated, I worked remotely but through Microsoft Teams and other communication platforms, I felt a part of the team.

It's a good place to work. There is a diverse atmosphere with lots of people from different backgrounds and they love to have potlucks so you get to try new food. The work is hard about 4 months of the year, and then it's very dead for the rest with some extra work at some points. You talk to farmers and they are mostly nice people too. There is not a lot of room to move up, unless people are leaving. Not a lot of people leave. Benefits are very good. Management is okay, there was a change a little while ago and they're still working on making it smoother operating. 

Toxic work environment. Company is not in line with their mission statement to help customers. Once you have made friends you can create your own culture. Management is in need of a reboot. 

Everyone works in silos in a very professional work environment.  There are high expectations and not a place for professional growth.  Would be a good fit for those later in their career.
