You need to be very observant and you should be a fast-learner and a hard worker or else they will kick you out if ever you're too slow/lazy. You also need to lift heavy objects. The employees are friendly except for the tenured ones (old ladies but not that really bad). The salary is not enough for the job or let's just say you are not well compensated if you are a machine operator. $17-18 rate is really low specially with the machines that they have. Management is not organize just a little bit but it's okay. People come and go. A lot of new faces every month.

I used to work on evening shift. The staff is great. They tend to help each other. The supervisor is very much approachable and helpful in solving problems. HR is always reachable and responsive if you have concerns. All in all, Canfab is not bad. It’s a company that can give you opportunities to grow.

It is not a good place to work if you are young, if you speak English or if you are an immigrant. You will fit in if you are over 50 years old, you only speak French and you like to discriminate against others for anything. It's a racist place where top bosses let Supervisors and their old employees treat you badly. It is a company that grew old along with its employees. You won't last 1 week

More of the decisions should be made onsite at the Oshawa facility instead of coming from the Montreal head office.    Much of the production equipment is too cramped together creating safety issues especially with material handling equipment. 

I have learned a lot as an industrial machine operator. Supervisor, plant manager, co-workers are very friendly and helpful. Excellent management, administrative rules and hr policies.

Work environment is toxic. They do not care their employees even if they spend more than 20 years working for. The supervisors are rude and they do not do their job. Lazy people feel comfortable with that.

They work people to exsostion,running around all the time before coming off the production line.They treat Employees like Chrildern,and never learn.They won't listen.

The work environment is very friendly. Many trainings are available to provide. Salary and benefits are really good. The work culture is perfect. Just join and enjoy! 

Terrible place to work. The warehouse is extremely hot, toxic co workers, unskilled manager and supervisor and an extremely boring job with low pay. Apply here only if you want to lose your sanity. 

This company goes the extra mile to assist and compromise with the staff whenever possible. Some people have unrealistic expectations, but the overall vibe is that they are accommodating and positive.
