By far the worst company I have worked for in my entire life. Training is next to nothing unless you're fortunate enough to start at a location they haven't run off the good employees yet where you gain some actual knowledge but otherwise it's just watch someone else work for a couple days then you're on your own. Once you're a warm body to be in a store you will work alone the rest of your time there. At first they shower you with praise and start bumping up your responsibilities very quickly and promises raises and titles because they value so much. It's nothing more than lip service you will never get a raise beyond barely above minimum wage (which is also NEVER paid on time) no matter how much responsibility you have running the store. There is zero communication from management if you bring up a concern you are berated, threatened and demeaned and good luck if you have to call in sick because next week your shifts will be cut by more than half, even if it's a life threatening emergency. If you have a family they don't matter you are expected to put your minimum wage job above everyone in your life and they will mock employees children calling them too needy or "effed up" if you have them and an unexpected issue occurs. 
They only care about the new locations and rarely spend any time improving the locations they already have but yet somehow find time to watch the cameras your entire shift from wherever they are and call to reprimand you on shift for the most minor of things. (Think fingerprints on a desk while the rest of the store the customers see is spotless, sitting down for 2 seconds when the store is dead and you don't get proper breaks because there's no coverage) They'll also send group messages on your days off to make similar complaints. They have zero clue how labour laws work and are sociopathic bullies. 
The entire company is just one huge toxic environment of intimidation and pitting employees against each other. Literally any other company is a better choice I'm so unbelievably grateful I was smart enough to get out when I did and am now thriving with a real company! 

Unfortunately, this company is not worth your time. While it may seem like a good idea because of all the locations and the stores seem aesthetically pleasing, it’s not worth it. You will be underpaid, overworked, and undervalued. Management doesn’t care about staff or the store, as they are too busy worrying about opening a new location. Any complaints are met with “hmm, you’re wrong” instead of genuine conversation about what the issues are. They can be incredibly rude, way more than is professionally acceptable, and will often just ignore any messages you send or ask. You’ll end up working alone and feeling horrifically unsafe. You can move up the chain fairly quickly, but you will barely be paid more for the work you do. This is not a company you want to invest time in.

This company will suck you dry, I am not a disgruntled ex employee, I am tired of having rules change every other day, meetings that go on for hours (with no real resolutions). No appreciation there is only criticism. There is NO training, you have to learn everything yourself. You have to work by yourself. There are no benefits and good luck with your pay as they tend to be late and blame it on everyone else but themselves. The 5 star reviews are laughable and clearly written by management. They are not smokers and it's very evident to the customers, the amount of times customers have mentioned how strange it is that we have to wear those cheap ugly shirts is almost daily. They know nothing about pot culture and they do not trust you, they watch you on the cameras. If you want to work for a company that doesn't let you have sick days be my guest. 

Current employee (as of writing the review), coworkers are great, but management is an utter disaster. The head management duo couldn’t care less about their employees, you will get written up for reasons they wont tell you. They are almost constantly watching you on the cctv while you work, which is extremely uncomfortable, and they wont hesitate to call you while they’re watching you to ask ‘why are you sitting down’ or ask what you are doing. There are 0 benefits after probation, you dont get health care, dental or even vacation pay. Iv’e gotten in trouble for calling out sick while in the ER. If you have a choice between working here and anywhere else, chose somewhere else. This job isnt worth the mental stress that it gives

A typical day at work involved assisting customers, handling sales transactions, organizing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Through this role, I learned strong customer service skills, product knowledge, teamwork, and the importance of accuracy and responsibility. Management was supportive and provided clear guidance when needed. The workplace culture was respectful, fast-paced, and team-oriented. The hardest part of the job was managing busy hours while maintaining accuracy and compliance. The most enjoyable part was helping customers, working with a supportive team, and gaining confidence in a professional retail environment.

The overall training is nothing other than watching someone work. There is no bud/cannabis training like they stated it is all on you to learn so you have to learn about the cannabis culture and products yourself since the Owner& Management do not know anything related to cannabis. The store polices and rules are never told to you so you will not know what you did wrong or you have done wrong until they are screaming at you about what you did. Management will alway blame employees even if they did wrong. There are a billon tasks that you do by yourself. You always work alone even thought multiple staff have been threatened. When brought up management told me I was being sensitive. 

Very unorganized, they expect you to constantly follow up for interview process. When you actually work in store you’ll be told a set of rules by one manager another set of rules from a diff manager. They’re a family run business, they take advantage of hard work for little money. The scheduling makes absolutely no sense. In your interview discuss things like pay schedule, because they avoided that question a lot because it’s once a month via cheque. They’re business is run so cheaply. Also youll find out employees are treated like they’re nothing. Ask about breaks, because I never got a break and they avoided answering that question as well. Just good luck, make sure you know what your getting yourself into.

The customers and staff members are great, but there are no other positives to working here. Managers do not even work in stores, and very rarely communicate. When issues are brought up with management they always find a way to put the blame on employees. There is between 2-4 people at each location and you will work alone. Security or health of employees are not a concern to managers, you will be forced to work even if you are sick. You will be expected to manage the store on your own even as a bud tender and will constantly be blamed for issues even if it is a result of the poor management.

take your pick. there's an utter lack of communication between upper management, the disorganization of the store, and the way that one of the upper managers treats her employees is ridiculous. she will let people go without proper cause. 

what you get paid is not near enough for the amount of cons vs pros you have to deal with in this place. if you really need a job then tread carefully, but once you seem like a stand up employee they take advantage of that by increasing their expectations and your workload without a pay raise.

There is nothing good about this company. The managers don't care at all about employees, have lied to the owner about their activities. Will lay blame about anything on anyone but themselves. The fact that they still have a job is beyond me. I have had to fight for paychecks to be paid on time, and there are often mistakes on the paychecks. If you decide to work here make sure you keep an eye to ensure you are being paid what you are entitled to, cause they will do anything to save a dollar, even short change their staff. -- This is by no means a "teamwork" environment.
