The management within this company for the most part now a days, have unrealistic expectations of the staff considering number of staff working per shift and the care requirements of all residents living on the units. High stress and lack of appreciation for the hard work we put in for our residents. They are not supportive of what person centred care actually is as a whole. It feels that the workplace has significantly deteriorated based on how the staff are overworked and mistreated. 
Politics and unrealistic 

Found that if you were not buddies with the RNs, and did not do for them what they wanted (recording weight, fill out transfer sheets) which was there responsibility.  Life would be very difficult for you.  If you get injured be prepared to be thrown under the bus.

Working with all the residents with their ADL's

Working with some regular that has an attitude unprofessionals

When its a busy day for everybody

Lots of hours offered on days off  if you like to pick up   Sometimes work short due to lack of staff. Great team work from all staff . The job is very rewarding knowing you made a difference in someone’s life each and every day

Working at capital care was decent. Everyone knows their responsibilities every single shift. Most enjoyable part o the job is the fact that you can spend a few hours hearing about some great experiences of life from the elderly.

Wonderful staff, residents and families to work with.  I enjoy working with residents and caring for them, helping their needs, making sure they are always happy.

This is a good place to work. They are always trying to keep communication going and make it a great place for the residents to live. There are many benefits that help with everyday living and wage is competitive.

stressful place to work as Care Managers do not support good workers. Hardest part of the job is watching residents get hurt by staff and management not doing anything or seeming to not do anything about it. Also being a good worker does not pay off their.

Not only did I love the residents that i served and assisted; but the staff at Dickensfield was amazing. Everybody was so kind and understanding. very few mistakes were made. One downside was how management would not always listen to your complaints.
