Most Staff at Capital Care, whether nursing, housekeeping, management are there simply because of their passion of helping their residents. Everyone loves what the do and is ready to do their best at it.   
My role is high volume and is definitely consuming at times ; however , I still enjoy my job because I feel rewarded when I know I have helped someone and have made a difference in their life... :). Plus the management is extremely understanding and supporting so it just feels like you are working within a family and contributing your best. 

The only con for me is that since I am temporary here on a contract basis and there are no opportunities for a permanent position, my journey with Capital care will be coming to an end soon; however I will continue to pursue future opportunities here within my scope of work..

working short with no extra staff, heavy work load

Can be stressful at times, but overall good working environment

Busy.Heavy work load at the start of each shift

I learnt alot of new skills at this workplace which I was not aware of when i first started. all my co workers were very kind and helped me in a lot of things that i was not clear about. the hardest part of this job was that sometimes it did become a bit stressful but I still enjoyed the workload as it was a good way to learn new things and the time flew really fast. the management was good as well

A great way to learn many experiences from people from all walks of life.  It gave me a first hand look at their lives, stories to tell.  And most of all the value of life itself and how we perceive things in life.

care housing attendant is a very rewarding job although its a very physical kind of work. multi-cultured staff, but we work as one. that at the end of the day, you can say, its another wonderful day.

This was a high paced workplace with a lot going on in all departments which granted me a great deal to learn in all areas for experiences such as medicine,ER,surgery,recovery,xray and portering

Great place to work. Management is flexible and accommodating when possible. Team building events once or twice a year. LAPP. Open door policy. Friendly and welcoming.

busy place lots of loving staff and great intermingling with family and staff, sometime stresfull as hospitals are and sad too great employee care.

It is an amazing place to work and able to continue to make a positive impact and beautiful also safe environment to work especially the manager (management) were doing great.

Great interdisciplinary collaboration and team work. Good patient/nurse ratio. The pace is very nice, it can get fairly busy but the time goes by fast. Management is very supportive.
