I have enjoyed working at Zellers. I learned how to :
• Use barcode scanning equipment to record incoming stock, verify pricing and maintain computerized stock inventory;
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list;
• Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting;
• Stock shelves and display areas and keep stock clean and in order;
• Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom;
• Direct customers to location of articles sought;
• Provide information to customers and the public concerning goods, services, rates, regulations and policies in response to telephone and in-person enquiries.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good company and a good experience to be a part of this company 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The stressful part is when the stock is short in a day and also a lot of spoilage product 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good environment, friendly workmates even we are not the same culture we understand each other and working as a team 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy day as always but I enjoy every moment in the company

Working at Carrefour Laval doing maintenance and dishwashing taught me a lot about time management. A typical day would consist of getting in at 6:00a.m. and starting to wash all the windows at the entrance ways to make sure they were spotless. I would sometimes work a double but it didn't feel like it. Always stuff to do, time flew. I really enjoyed the dish washing part of the job, working with a team of 6. Some of my co-workers weren't the greatest of people and management didn't do anything about it.

Always  in search of new employees, making employment easily attainable. A substantial amount of drama as there are few employees. Mostly women, only 2 men between all 12 daycare sites. Overall can be a lot of fun to work with kids, however due to the amount of rules, consequences of any sort are not acceptable, leading to some kids harming you and other kids on the site for fun without seeing that there is anything wrong with their actions.

The summer camp is very well organized and very axed on making the kids' experience the best be it for a single week or the whole summer. There are always plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and everyone is incredibly friendly. There's an easy-going attitude but it's a serious workplace at the same time. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good summer job as a monitor or tennis instructor.

Worked here many years ago yet still remember it fondly. Easy entry level job, opportunities to move up, huge company therefore you don't really deal with the kind of problems that family business have. Can't say much more than this as this was many years ago and it was my first real job, but I definitely recommend the company.

I love the people I work with, it makes work more enjoyable. I do a fun, fulfilling job and work for a very open minded and progressive company. I do wish my salary was higher, 11.25 is not enough to live on and I dont get enough hours. In addition, there is an amount of favoritism between the boss and some employees, but that is specific to my store.

It was not always easy but l learned to manage stress efficiently while working at Carrefour Laval. It was a fairly stressful job and l worked there for a long time. I did, however, enjoy interacting with people. I realized l loved people when l worked there. I don't regret working there. lt helped me grow

The Carrefour Francophone is one of many french organisations that are part it's fathering company, La Slague. Here, Working here is great. It's part of my culture, I mix my hobbies with work and the staff is nothing but pleasent.

Overall, working at Carrefour supermarkets has given a chance to have different productive experience. 
I consider myself lucky to have worked there regardless of all problems or stress that is available in any workplace
