I don’t mind working here except for the fact that I don’t respect the warehouse manager. When Covid 19 started he was one of the lucky few of us that kept there job but within a week or two of working the warehouse manager decided he could no longer come to work because he was “too scared” to take the bus!! So while lots of “non management” employees took the bus to come to work every day he sat at home playing video games. What an example to the rest of the staff! The best part though is that the old manager who stepped down because he is older and has medical issues took over and came to work every day and he takes the bus!! Now the warehouse manager is back at work and when he’s not sitting on his butt pretending to work while everyone else runs around because we are so short staffed. He complains daily about having to come back to work because apparently he made more money sitting at home instead of coming to work (bills deferrals). Quite frankly he is a joke and NOBODY respects him!! As grumpy as the previous warehouse manager is at least he works hard and doesn’t act like he is better than everyone! Seriously, get rid of the current warehouse manager and working at this place is ok.

This is the best company I have ever worked. I stayed here for many years, and didn't think to go anywhere since then. My boss is a very nice man, he cares about his employees. Whenever I have family issues and need to change my work schedule, he always approved. 
At the beginning, we played a very small role in the company, but with more years with Cartwright, my boss always gave us more opportunities to do multi-task.It's very helpful for our self development.  The employees in our office are very nice, responsible and easy to getting along with
Some of my colleagues even worked more than 20 years, but never think to leave. I enjoy to work there.Cartwright is the place which I plan to stay and never think to leave.

Not a bad place to work, but not a great one either. Decent work life balance just clock in clock out. Sales team works as a team but is stretched thin for time. Salespeople should be given a period of time during the shift when they are off the floor and Can focus on following up on their previous customers and projects. Less mistakes would happen if salespeople weren’t being pulled in ten different directions and their tasks always being interrupted due to being in the showroom. Also do not pay enough despite hard work. 

The warehouse management has no idea how to talk to their employees. Rather than sitting down and discussing things with the different departments, they just gets mad at small mistakes and feels they have to fix it all by themselves.
There is also no sense of appreciation. If management want to talk to you, you screwed up, and they are going to let you know how much harder they work, even if the screw up is on their end. Don't ever expect a thank you.
Also don't ever give feedback to them or they'll say you're talking back to them. It's there way or no way.

I would go to work not knowing which department they would place me in. There was an 80% turnover rate since I had been there and almost none of us were left after a few years. The supervision will stab you in the back every chance they get, your human rights and your safety will be compromised and the most enjoyable part of the day is the end.

I’ve been with Cartwright for almost 6 years now and I can honestly say it’s been a whirlwind! Lots of stuff to learn so you have to be level headed and be able to multitask everyday. Work can be stressful at times but it helps to have co-workers who understand and can help you through it! Lots of room for advancement! Hours are great, pay is decent and the company tries to involve its employees in many events outside of work!

I love my job at Cartwright. It is challenging and busy and I deal with a lot of different personalities. There are lots of perks such as a great Christmas party, staff lunches, volunteer opportunities, and bonuses. This is not for the faint hearted though as there are many deadlines and stressful situations so a level head and an attention to detail are a must.

Warehouse management needs to be fixed

The main warehouse manager, he loves his favorites and do not expect to be treated properly. 

Dont trust anyone who is his favorites because they'll say or do anything to remain that way.

Block out the negative, the work they give you is fine.

I worked there for a very long time. It is a great place to work if you do a good job, just don't expect to be rewarded for it. Management tends to promote buffoons to use later as scapegoats or due to an immense amount of favoritism.

Worked here for quite some time. They treat you like little kids. The owners are very narcissistic and unfair. The rules change all the time depending on if they like you or not. You will never get a Saturday off ever and don't bother even asking. They emotionally manipulate you
