I previously worked at Cassandra Hotel as a front desk agent for over 5 months, my experience working here has been brilliant. The management train you along the way and really stay involved in your progress. Its a great environment to work in, also the guests are very pleasant and you can build great relationships professionally. Once I graduate from College I will definitely look to come back and work here again. I really do no believe and trust the previous reviews, I really think they are fake reviews. I would recommend anyone who is interested in hospitality to apply and work here, if they have available vacancies. I would like to thank Cassandra Hotel for believing in me and helping me become a better person and helping me gain some crucial knowledge of the hotel industry. 

I recently joined the Cassandra Hotel team as a front desk agent.  I didn't have any work experience in Canada before joining the hotel. The company provided me with very comprehensive training on my job, and I learned a lot within a brief period. The General Manager is always approachable and has a continuous dialog with employees to ensure everything is fine with them. He encourages employees to work better via his guidance and support. The work team is amiable and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to develop their career in the hospitality industry—a great place to work. 

The pros are only about the training but it won’t last. The manager does not trust you at all. You are being micro managed and the company is not very organised. Some of your colleagues does not help you and just prefer to be quiet. I also don’t like it when the manager talks bad about your colleagues and likes to compare with everyone. It means he also talks bad about YOU to your other colleagues. That’s not the way how you should handle your staff. Something is also off with all the procedures. Other colleagues are also not friendly and looks so stressed. 

I started my hospitality journey at this hotel. My training was well planned and included everything I needed to know for the front desk position. Our performances were reviewed in timely manners, and suggestions and feedback were provided. Overall, the working environment is positive, and management is supportive. 

Front Desk Agents has to run the entire hotel day & night to inspect rooms as there is no regular housekeeper to confirm vacant ready rooms before checking in any guest.

Roaches, stained sheets are common customer complaints and management blames you for it.
Negative environment.

Work here only if you are desperate!

with their co-workers!!!! Because it's vary for the same job!

Once the sale season is down, the manager starts to find a reason to fire you.
The direct manager is very moody
Training is too bad

i work well with scheduled, listed task to perform however, i am a fast learner and easy to work with, with or without supervision. I will always give my 101 percent to do my job. I am reliable and responsible individual.

Very strict work guideline. You are not allowed to make a simple decision by yourself. very controlling management. No motivation and most importantly, illiterate management. 

Not organized  working place. No bonuses. Hotel needs renovation but after projects it is not going forward. Great stuff at the Front desk and Housekeeping department.
