Do not recommend working there some people seemed just downright miserable in life others seemed angry or depressed and some were just not friendly at all. Some people work into or through their breaks which are short in time to begin with. Extremely loud working environment to be in if you value your hearing not the place for you. Management seems to not be very much in touch with what really goes on there and mostly just sit on the computer all day. Some people were working everyday 7 days a week and then they run out of work to do. Seems they like people that have little experience with the job probably because they pay them under average pay. Proper quality procedures is practically non existent. Guess if you like having no life and working every weekend and don't care about going deaf then this is the place for you.

DO NOT apply to this company. Friendships and favortism are top priority, while quality production comes last. Very toxic atmosphere. Employees are under paid and morale is extremely low. Anyone in the industry knows the reputation this company has. It could be at its worst point yet. Just a pathetic place to be on a daily basis

Against my better judgement I left a good job with a great employer for a role with Castool in Uxbridge mainly due to their offer of a better salary. However within the 3 month probationary period I was dismissed. The workers there are good people, but seem miserable. Turn around seems to be high, The physical demands of the job are high and although safety is talked about as a priority I would not describe it a safe environment. I would not recommend this employer.

If you are young, ambitious, qualified and talented; this place is not for you. The unqualified, miserable, insecure and jealous managers will eat you alive. The GM is a joke. If you want to know what kind of leader you should not be, follow him. This place is run by ringleaders and if you are a scam artist, this is a place for you.  Also, racism does exist and that’s the first thing you learn here

I love working at Castool it amazing but the hard part was transpiration. i learn that i always get my job done faster. and that i can do lots of things because I'm am Hard of hearing sometime people doubt me because they think i cant do anything but i can do anything the only thing i cant do is hear and answer the phone.

Manufacturer of machined metal components for extrusion machines. Products they make are large and heavy and environment is dirty and very easy to hurt yourself. Very hot and sweaty environment to work in with high stress to complete jobs as quickly as possible.

Busy shop , unorganized managment, no advacment, faules promise to keep you working leading you on. They don't give raises what you get when your hired is what your stuck with for awhile.benifits are good , work boots, work clothes/ laundry, not enough washrooms. Often have to wait to use a toilet.

Great place for a paycheck. Not a great place to advance or improve. Easy work. Pay is less than. What you can get elsewhere but a day's work at castool isn't very hard. Some people call it the retirement home for machinist's.

This company  is not a good  place to work for  they threaten you if you do not do overtime too much politics the  owner and manager are toface you were better off  besides when you’re done your probation they let you go so they don’t  have to five you benefits or give you a raise.

I got to learn how this environment is, also my mother works there that how i travel from Oshawa and there. I would love working there if i have to. but I'm looking for a job in Oshawa so it's easier travel.
