management does not care about the employees, they are mainly focused on the financial aspect of the job. Residents do not get the service they deserve based on the amount of money they pay to live there. Staff are constantly working short and management takes MONTHS to rehire. There is a very high turn over rate, staff have a hard time working under stressful conditions when residents are angry because the service (due to the shortage of staff). Management is unrealistic with their expectations and amount of pay and time they give their staff. The only thing that kept me there was the residents, they were amazing. 

I would not want to work there. Very negative work environments.

Don’t work here unless you want to have your entire reputation smeared over the hands of other people’s lies. Don’t work here unless you want your mental health to go to complete garbage due to the overwhelming,  toxic conceited people you will work for/with. Don’t work here unless you want to ruin other peoples lives; And if you do, you’ll probably be a great fit !
Very toxic work place, would not recommend to anybody. Very unfortunate as it is a retirement home.

These are people not products on an assembly line.... proper training is seriously lacking and time restraints for each person's care makes it IMPOSSIBLE to feel like you have done an adequate job.I wished to pursue PSW training but was not offered any assistance from the employer and they would not pay the wages of PSW's even if course's were completed to better the level of care we could then provide.....

Don’t bother applying. Residents are wonderful, but management is horrible! They don’t appreciate/value the employee and their hard work. Lack of proper training, they think just with three training shifts is enough to be left on your own, few staff members try to help, but it’s very  understaffed, pay sucks, the unrealistic time restraints for each person's care, etc. It’s no wonder people quit on the spot/never stay past two weeks! Honestly, it’s not worth it. Don’t waste time and energy.

Management was poor. If you decide to apply make sure that if you have another employement or responsibilities that you have to be very insistant about your other schedule Poor listening and changing schedule without letting you know. Poor communication,  poor training. You are left with very little information about the residents and their needs outside of what you are told. Management and reponsibles can be bulies

Don’t apply here. It was okay in the beginning but is such a terrible environment. I felt like crying and have cried on multiple occasions. Management is terrible in all departments and are very rude to workers. Worst care given ever all the workers care about it’s getting paid. Many health standards are broken during care. The people who run this place only care about making money. I would NEVER EVER put a family members in their care.

Never a dull moment working here.  A broad spectrum of skills is needed on a daily basis.  I learned to be proactive and set boundaries when dealing with both the public and with residents.  Wonderful coworkers that are fun to work with.  Management and supervisors are extremely knowledgeable, approachable and mentor their employees.

I have learned that retirement living is much different then Long-Term Care living and your programming can be more independent. Which means that there are more opinions for the way I offered programming.

This establishment had a very stressful work environment and was mismanaged to the point of negatively impacting residences and employees. It was also very clear that the company did not care about the well being of the residents or staff with all the cuts to essential budgets and stuff incomes.

I enjoyed my job at cedarcroft place. Most of the residents I had the pleasure of serving could always put a smile on my face. I also liked the hours I worked at the time because I am a single mother and I worked in the evening so I didn't need to find daycare
