Working here is like being a contestant on H*ll's Kitchen except there is no big prize at the end.

No doubt there is a lot to be learned working here. There is a big variety of mobile devices. Learning the differences between components, and small changes between generations is a large part of the job that you'll have to keep in mind while you train disassembling, repairing, and reassembling each one. Carefully disassembling a broken phone to a working one is a gratifying feeling, but the process is delicate and requires precision and focus. You're allowed to take your time and be careful in training, but as soon as you're transferred to the main location you're expect to perform a basic screen repair in only thirty minutes. This short amount of time means mistakes and problems are inevitable as you're often rushing to take apart and reassemble screws the size of crumbs and cables as fragile as paper. If this sounds stressful to you, it's because it is. However, the process is ultimately rewarding as you know you've made someone's day better and learned a valuable skill.

However, the hardest part of the job is tolerating "Gordon Ramsay" the management whose short temper, and shorter patience for mistakes is heard loud and clear across the workplace. Management is not afraid to openly talk down to, gossip, or yell at his employees when he's displeased or in a bad mood, which is quite frequent. Mistakes range from bothering him, to breaking a part on a client's device. Management's lack of professionalism bleeds to his good moods too, as he'll often make insensitive jokes, share his conspiracy theories, or tell stories about past employee's mistakes. Employees, naturally, do not last long here, as they make enough mistakes to get them fired, or they get tired of management's behavior.

My two stars comes from the fact that I learned a lot and got good enough at repairing my own devices so that I never have to come back.

I worked as a part-time technician here for a little over 5 months while enrolled in school. The simplest way I can sum up my experience is that it is fair. If you're open to learning, are able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a good attention to small details then you will have little issues.

The training is proper, and you are never forced to work on something you are unfamiliar with; furthermore, if you do have questions regarding something you're working on, then management or the senior staff on the team will be there to help. Also, there are a lot of practices set in place that help with making sure repairs are done properly, which makes everything less stressful overall.

The biggest con I've noticed from my time here is that the team can sometimes be short-staffed given how busy the locations get. You will always have something to be doing (which is nice), but at times this can become stressful when following the company's repair standards while also trying to stay in line with the time deadlines given to customers; there will be times when these don't line up properly and it can get frustrating for the whole team.

The position consisted almost entirely of repairing customer's mobile devices, which has been one of the most engaging and rewarding jobs I have ever performed. There is a special feeling you get when you finish repairing a device, everything works better than before, and you know your work will likely directly improve someone's day. That said, it is an incredibly stressful job, that requires constant attention to detail. 

Criticism was constructive, and focused on pinpointing and addressing short-term performance targets. If you show you are accountable to your actions and willing to improve, you will become successful here, as was proven to me by other techs who had worked their long time. 

While management may sometimes show it in a unique way, they care about their employees, and their customers immensely. 

If you are unable to receive criticism well, or are looking for "just a job" then I would not recommend this job to you. However if you are passionate about repairs, and open to being forged by fire in a stressful environment then you will likely grow into another member of this awesome team. 

A typical day at work includes repairs from iPhone to Samsung, Laptops and consoles. Having prior experience working here I have learned many more techniques and gotten much faster at the work. The first month or so is the hardest. Management can be abrasive with new employees since they are very particular about how the job is done (fair since repair has to be done properly or else devices get damaged.) 

I have worked here 8 months. I mainly work in London but occasionally work at other locations in the company. I have learned a lot here not just from management but from the team as well. The team really is great they answer any questions or concerns that I have. The other employees have been here for years and are extremely experienced.

I worked at MobileKlinik prior to working here and things are very different for the better. I am someone who wants to learn new processes and skills and working here has provided me with exactly that.

Always something new to learn. Love it.

lots of things to learn , common sense isn't common, if you struggle learning in fast pace environments then you will set yourself up to fail.
Success is really all in your hands you get to work independently solving issues and if stuck theres lots of people around to assist you.
Being coachable while you learn the techniques required to fix phones will help you become a good tech in no time.
Also the days fly by fast while working here 

Working as a phone technician has been a rewarding experience for me and you wont feel the time passing by. I enjoy the hands-on nature of the job, especially troubleshooting and repairing devices to help customers stay connected. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the work engaging and helps me continuously learn and grow. Overall, it’s a fulfilling role that I’m genuinely happy to be in.

I enjoyed my time at Cellular Magician. My coworkers were awesome and I learned a lot about all kinds of devices. Management was extremely poor and the most stressful part of the job. Everyday you would be terrified to make the smallest of mistakes for fear of being yelled at or losing your job.  

My experience at cellular magician was good and bad, like any job. A typical day is usually working with phones for the entire day. Management at some places are bad. The owner can be a handful at times, but it’s usually the stress of the job. He does deeply care about his team, although he rarely shows it. If you can get passed being yelled at sometimes then you’ll be fine.

It’s a fast paced environment where employees cooperate with each other and provide legendary customer services . 

The owner is a high tech person and he knows what he needs to deliver to the new technician. 

The people at this company are good people, but it is a very, very stressful job. Pay is pretty good, but there are days where you'll hang your head and drive home with the radio off.
