-6:30 am start , go upstairs to front desk , obtain your route for the day , head out into your zoned area , mine being - surrey , white rock , langley ,cloverdale , port kells and aldergrove . stoping at average of 17 - 26 stops , droping off meats products boxed by piece count and invoice ( description - weight ) ect . returning to shop and droping off , truck , paper work , retrurns ,ect .
I learned , patience , people skills , organization skills .
co workers - 50 / 50 , some kind , some selfish .
hard parts , cunducting product through tight places safley , driving safley in the bussel of vancouvers crowded roads and construction areas , aswell as the new drivers on the roads .
the most enjoyable part of my job was having the relationships with my locations , had made new friends and meet some very great people .

A typical day at work to me is 8hrs of enjoyment. I love my job I love my customers & very importantly my other team members.

There are new things to learn daily at Centennial, I have basically put my hand in every pot and learned enough of every part of this company per my request (Accounting, purchasing, sales, management, customer service, maintenance, etc.) to do every job.

The management is quite scattered. 

Hardest part of my job at Centennial is saying no. I am a yes person and take on any task thrown at me.

Not often do you find someone who loves customer service.... I on the other hand am the opposite, problem solving and service are my favourite part.

Honestly, working there was kind of torturous.

The BM (if that conjures images of something else you wouldn't be far off in that either) or branch manager seems to be running that branch in such a downward spiral you should use it to uncork a bottle wine, that working here has caused you to drink. 

Everyone who cares has left or has burnt out to the point they no longer care. If you don't care you'll do well. If you work hard and finish on time,  you'll be rewarded with other people's work. So take your time, don't care, clock in, clock out. Plan your escape.

all the time stressful. mis managed allowing toxic behaviour. over all terrible place to work. people come and go

toxic stressful no training and terrible mangers 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
terrible fleet maintenance terrible work mates  truck always loaded incorrectly

Every single employee here who claims WCB is fired shortly after their claim ends and sometimes while they are still requiring treatment. Management came up with a position where someone who should have been at home resting and recovering from a major surgery instead sat in a refrigerated area and did nothing.This was of course simply to save on WCB premiums. Still I would work here again. the people are much better than yhe management.

This company is a decent place to work. They don't pay you as much as you could elsewhere but the trade off is that once you're off the clock, you're off and aren't expected of anything else. Decent sized break room with free coffee. Drivers are expected to manage themselves with respect to time and locations of their deliveries.

Poor management. Pay is minimal. Probably ok if you live with 10 other people. They say annual raises. I got 8 cents. They train you to do everything with promises of better pay and dont follow through. The people are all clicky and catty. Upper management doesn't care about people in the production room. Management treats employees like children.

Super negative environment. If you aren’t part of the families that work there you will be treating like poo and walked all over. Everyone shares everyone’s personal information including the boss. Very unprofessional and drama filled work environment. If you like crying at least once a day while being screamed at for $16.50-18 an hour by people who think they are better than you, then this is the place to work!

Centennial is a great company to work for. They genuinely care about their employees. Managers always have an open door policy. Great benefits. Excellent staff discount. Employees often have direct relationships with Executive team members (Directors, President, etc.)

Great guys on the floor other then the ones who manage, safety standards aren’t even a thing at this place,  management is absolutely useless, couldn’t even give a reason for why I was being laid off, used me for the Christmas season. Very deceitful.
