As a school bus driver your life is impossible, it will monopolize all your time, with little to no opportunity for advancement.

When mechanics are paid to stay home, you are required by law to argue with the employer who doesn't care if your fired, and when your wheels hit the road - even if the employer is forcing you, the police can charge you with an offence.

On top of being liable for conduct of children, your aptitude of mechanical operation of the bus is extended beyond reasonable doubt...

As you work here, public sector unions will strike making your life a complete nightmare as you again take all the liability during MTO strikes.

When your bus company pays you very little, one year later you won't be able to afford housing or a personal vehicle as the employers of school buses expect you pay them to work there...

When your bus becomes damaged, the employer will not compromise even for $5 additional dollars to take an uber to work. 

Unless you plan to sleep in the school bus, you will end up paying to work here.

Really enjoy this job. It allows for you to plan your appointments easily around the runs. There are lots of hours and runs so you can work a lot If you want to. There are lots of charters available during the day between the school runs. The dispatchers really look after their dirvers and the mechanics take very good care of the busses. I have enjoyed meeting the other drivers, it is a relaxed professional place to work. They really do take safety seriously.  I would recommend this company for employment.

- Airport Shuttle shift hours can range from 4 to 16 hours per day depending on number of customer bookings for that day and how many drivers have signed up.
- If you are willing to work weekends and early morning shifts (eg 2:00 am) and do 2 trips/day then you will have plenty of work.
- There is no HR department.
- The company has ten core values but not always observed.
- Work place can be toxic at times.
- Difficult to maintain work/life balance

To be specific, I worked at the company when it was Coach Canada. They had a union-nonunion set up that was a huge example of unfair operations. Union drivers could take charters from non-union drivers. The weekly school runs paid next to nothing.  Charters were few and far between, which meant making a living was nigh on impossible. This job is meant for calm and collected, retirees who don't NEED to make money. They are just bored. I would never work for this company again.

Your regular route ends up paying more than any part time job I've seen. It leaves you with plenty of time during the day to do whatever you need to do. They offer charters regularly. 
My only issue that I have encountered, is a lot of the men with this company (but certainly not all of them), are a bit on the sexist side. Most of the people are fantastic. I would recommend this job especially if you need something to work around your kids.

If you just go, work, do the bare minimum and don’t have any problems or ask questions, you might like it here. They are unorganized, last minute, inconsiderate and inconsistent. You are simply their minion. They need to improve their communication with staff and each other (management), consideration for their staff, following up and being more proactive.

I really like forking for this company they are very understanding and helpful. I’m able to bring my children to work with me. They provide all the training and you get bus qualification for free. You can take the bus home. Good hours with minimum hours paid regardless if you drive that much or not. 

I was looking for some part-time driving work and this job fit perfectly. The trainers and other management were knowledgeable and professional. Vehicles are maintained in excellent condition. Health and safety is a priority.

i spent my days here cleaning. From painting to cleaning the gun off bottoms of the bus sets to windows. if you love cleaning this is perfect for you. It gets hard on the back but like every job you get used to it.

After 5 years on this job the company continues to  be a great place to work. Office staff are very helpful to the drivers and accommodating to your needs. Mechanics and trainers are very professional.  Very good support from upper management.
