Toxic workplace in service department, service manager will focus on you in a very negative way if you end up on his bad side. This has been reported by numerous people but nothing has changed. Focus is as long as the numbers look good to the higher ups, then there is nothing that needs to be changed. Tech's in the shop are a great group that really enjoy working together and collaborate well. Saw a high turnover of really great techs and foreman at this location and have heard it keeps getting worse. Tool room is a joke and when something breaks it gets replaced with Princess Auto junk or is repaired by unqualified people. Bonus program is unachievable and they pay below industry standard wages. Some techs get decent training while others are ignored. 

After hopping around from a few jobs, I've realized that working for cervus wasn't all that bad.
Great work life balance, great benefits, pay is ok.
What they need to focus on is proper training for apprentices (pair them up with a journeyman throughout their apprenticeship) and having management who actually "lead" not "boss" staff around...

either than that the company is good to work for and I would gladly go back if I don't find anything that suites me.

Working with Cervus Equipment was a fun rewarding place to work. I opened the shop Mon-Friday, ensured all monies were balanced, received and sent mail. Answered all I coming calls and transferred to correct person or department.  I was the first point of contact for both Customers and staff. I enjoyed meeting and greeting all the customers and enjoyed all aspects of the position.

Their apprenticeship program was good but they treat people like they don't matter. I was dismissed after going through undiagnosed mental health issues and was told that i should have contacted a company provided counselor and it was on myself. 

Cervus Equipment John Deere is a very well run business and a fast paced environment. It was a pleasure to work for such a very well recognized Brand leader, It is a world leader in the Turf and Agriculture Equipment market and was a pleasure to work for.

They do not treat you with respect 
They known every thing and will not here your opinion
They want every thing done like a flat  rate  shop
The atmosphere  is very toxic 
If you take to management  they will do nothing and tell you this is the way it is

This company makes you feel like you're part of a family. Fantastic management and great ongoing training. Lots of highly experienced people to draw information from should you need it as they are all working towards the same goals.

Not worth a review, poor culture, 0 accountability until something goes wrong and then the fingers start pointing
Extremely poor understanding of team work, safety, integrity, management is all about posturing and numbers and needs to find a balance

Great place to work, management is strong and fair. Training is good. People are good to work with and care about the big picture. Great inventory control over-all, and aftermarket product is the right stuff.

There is no appreciation for the work you do. Excepted to do the best and get payed very low compared to other companies. Do not care about the people or the customers not a place to make a career at.
