Chamois

When I started at the chamois i was wanting around 10-15 hours to balance with school and sports, they scheduled me in for 30.. I was very dissapointed in the management as i was not given proper breaks. My last shift i worked from 3:00 till 8:45 and received 1 10 minute break which is violating the labour laws. The team leaders were very rude. Instead of saying "hey once your done this task, move onto this one, they would point and yell. You receive a 10% discount on all washes and convenience items which is absurd as when paying $25 for a car wash 10% dosent even cover the tax. You are also not allowed to take tips which is ridiculous, i have not experienced a work place as harsh and unfair as the chamois. Would not reccomend!

Its is the most unprofessional, hipocritical, and childish place to work. Management will not have your back, no benefits unless you work your way into management. People are treated as disposable, and don't care about what's happening in your life. This place is falling apart, only good thing is they hire everybody, and if you slave away you will probably get a raise after a couple months. But get out as soon as you can

Management is really unorganized and rude. The work is really intense for the little amount you get paid. They haven't given me a 1 year review even though I have been there for 2 years now. They don't listen to staff idea's or do very little about our complaints such as new rain gear for when we are working with pressure washers.

This is a job where it is enjoyable to work at; but there are times where it is stressful, but it's great first job, starting salary is decent. Easy to make new friends, people get along with each other. Training is simple and easy to understand.

a fast paced environment with a crowded atmosphere. learned different things about car detailing and the dangers of jeeps. the toughest part of the job was keeping up when I first stared out and became easier and easier as I went a long a became more comfortable. all co-workers were great except for the management.

Working at The Chamois really made me realize how important it is to make sure you're doing your job correctly and to exceed the expectations. If I didn't give it my all, it would be very noticeable because the cars would not be clean, this would cost the company money and time.

The staff were pretty good but I wiped down cars for 8 hours a day after coming out of the wash. Time crawled by and you couldn't talk to anyone because it was so loud.

hardly get breaks because management doesn't know what theyre doing half of the time plus its way to repetitive of a job and long hours sometimes plus we could never accept tips.

they contract you for 40 hours and give you 20 every 2 weeks and they pay min wage for work that is a lot more demanding than the amount paid out to you
