On paper this employer offers structure, aviation exposure, and a pathway to grow. In practice, the day-to-day culture makes that growth unlikely. Workload distribution is uneven, with a small group consistently assigned the most physically demanding tasks while others remain under-utilized. Feedback channels are non existent and meaningful follow-through is rare; concerns about safety, staffing, or process quality are acknowledged and then shelved rather than fixed. New policies are constantly invented on the spot and shift without clear communication, so expectations feel inconsistent and disciplinary actions are driven more by politics and nepotism, rather than by coaching. Training is minimal beyond the basics required by business insurance, equipment is often broken and not always well maintained, and scheduling changes are frequent enough to complicate work-life balance. Compensation and benefits are average for the sector, but the environment—low trust, limited recognition, nepotism, and high turnover—absolutely overshadows any upside. If you value consistent leadership, transparent communication, and fair workload management, you will be disappointed here.

There was a lot to do which was good because it kept me busy. I did a lot of data entry, answering and screening phone calls, ordering office supplies, booking executive travel arrangements, creating various spreadsheets and documents, shipping/receiving office correspondence, assisting customers with any information they need, keeping detailed records of various documents, keeping things clean, organized, and up to date.

The hardest part of the job was the multitasking, but I felt good at the end of the day because I worked hard and kept up.

The most enjoyable part was the odd free flight.

I had worked at Chartright for 2 years in the accounting department. This is a healthy environment with great support from both leaders (controller and assistant controller). The 2 leaders are focus in company goals and problems solving. Micromanagement DOES NOT exist. Some employee choose to work overtime, but there was never pressure to do so. Team spirit is strong. Multiculturalism is celebrated through sharing lunches and company events. An good place to work and have a balance in family life.

The workplace culture is so terrible. No one cares for you. It is so full of cliques, you either get with it or you get out. There is no equality, fairness and no acknowledgment. They make it clear that by doing a good job, you just get more work. Some people do the bare minimum and even doing that, they complain how much work they have. Your career dies here, there is absolutely no growth here. They expect you to give and give, until you have nothing left. It literally sucks the soul out of you.

None. It's a very biased environment. No growth.

Clients are very hard to please an when you don't please them the company sacks you

The work environment is confusing. You aren't well trained for the job 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Email, phone calls, budget reviews etc

Very fast-paced work doing a bit of everything involved in getting a charter flight operational. I definitely learned a lot and the team I worked with was amazing. Salary could be better and the shift times weren't the best, although that's to be expected considering it's a 24/7 operation

Very supportive of their employees. Great pay and benefits.

Nothing about working for them was stressful

It was a positive experience.

Incompetent management , toxic environment,
lots of gossip and back stabbing, very unrealistic expectations. PRM that cant write an email without many spelling mistakes... that tells a lot about a company in my opinion. Other managers are inconsiderate and they don't care much about employees. 

Busy and productive work environment. Good company with good people and good clients. Located at Pearson Airport. Shifts vary depending on specific department but generally Mon-Fri 9-5.

This was an excellent opportunity for me right out of College. I moved to Hamilton, and the commute was much too far to continue this position. Everyone there was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This is an excellent company to work for.
