The main reason of start working as a taxi driver was that I like to get a better understanding of the culture, the society and knowledge of the city I am living in and I achieved this goal during this time, but the big disadvantage of this job is facing to drunk and unroll y customers mostly in the middle of the night and there is not enough protection from the management even they know the situation.

I was the Operations Manager and enjoyed my role..I communicated with the drivers and set their schedules...Managed the warehouse and staff and ensured all shipping and receiving was done correctly and warehouse was up to codes and policy standards...The hardest part of my job was making sure all jobs were covered and product was delivered on time

I really enjoyed working for the company they were friendly and always there if there were anything that they I needed help with. I would definitely tell people that if they want a laid back place to work with friendly people Checker Cabs is the place to work. Their trading process is with an experienced Customer service person.

Hours are great, never asked to come in early or stay late. The pay was industry standard. Only down side was having to deal with some customers. They expected you to cut your estimates down constantly and wanted the cheapest parts available but expected the best quality.

This company doesn't care about their employees  only about  Money.  No raises  even if you are given more work.  You are given a schedule and no chance of taking a day off from that schedule for any reason unless you trade with someone and if they dont show up for your shift you are not paid.  

Was hired for temporary position but was asked to stay afterwards. Shop isn't managed properly, not very organized and some of the equipment is in need of replacement/repair/upgrading but it never comes to fruition.

I really enjoyed working there. The other workers were friendly and helpful. If a position ever became available to work there again I would most definitely apply for the position.

My review as long as you don't mind being owned by the company nobody cares what you think nobody wants to hear any of your opinions shut up and drive you break something you're buying it double the price of what they paid you're only as good as the last shift you drove don't call in sick.....

I enjoyed working here, it was just a time for change.
I learned about a lot of different cultures and people.
I was able to use all of my skills and learn new ones.
Most enjoyable part of the job was dealing with the drivers on a daily basis.

It provided excellent earning opportunities for people looking to work and study like in my case. However, once UBER changed everything and it is hard.
