I am on my feet all the time when I am working. During my time there I would arrange the shelves, and stock up missing merchandise. Some merchandise are very heavy, and the others are expensive. At the end of the hour my co-workers and I would sweep up the whole store.

This job helped me improve my work ethics. I get a great understanding of how a grocery store is functioned.

The hardest part of the job was putting the fragile and expensive items on very high shelves, the amount of focus I needed was tremendous.

I very enjoyed interacting with my co-workers and customers, they were always very friendly and easy to talk to. In addition sometimes the customers would tip us when we brought their groceries to their cars.

cheese boutique staff is fun and enjoyable for the first two months and then suddenly treats you like a pile of rubbish forcing you to do a three person job alone and threatening to fire you at every mistake.
the feeling of having no security at this workplace is very overwhelming. the staff is very one sided and doesnt appreciate the effort put into your work. there was one good thing about this workplace and that would be the free lunch... that was almost always three to five days old.

working closely with the customers and cheese


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Too much politics.. The owner doesn't really cares about his employees unless are very close to their family. no appreciation for your work and efforts.

work environment will be toxic if you are working individually, all you need to do to survive is always chit chat with managers and owner's family.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Staff are nice, Bosses are understanding.

Hours can be hard from being in your feet all day.
Cleaner environment would be appreciated.

Environment is alright, if you are new there can be a little bit of hazing.

Standard, you do a lot of labour

It's a family business..... There's no due process or guild line for anything...
Their decisions are always biased....The management of cheese is faulty to some extent...Sometimes we use wrong materials....( Not too good vegetables... Expired stuff from the warehouse....

You can decent hours, just don’t expect to ever be treated well unless you’re somehow connected to management’s family. If you enjoy being constantly told to smile while selling expired foodstuffs to demanding rich people, this is the place for you.

I was there in the warehouse and only dealt with my one warehouse coworker and he was a good mentor and very easy to get along with. One supervisor isn't the best and you will know fast is she is still there longer. Other then that.. everything in my ratings would be like 98%

standing for long hours,break times are inconsistant,mgmt is not open to change,high pressure time senseitive work, many staff are unfriendly,paid by cheque. customers are nice

Enjoyed working with a few wonderful people. Some management don't know what they're doing. To be honest, they don't know how to treat their employees. Unfair wages with employees. If you want to get treated unfairly by management, this is the place (insert sarcasm here).

really good just semi bad management and miss communication sometimes but it’s overall a good place to work at some times depends on what department u work in
