Shifts vary from full day babysitting to miscellaneous classes. What I have and still enjoy is the focus on personal development of each child. Reasonable class sizes ( some nice and small) allow us to support each child in developing new skills. 

Time between classes for us teachers to relax and be prepared for the next class is so nice. I sure wish teaching in schools was like think wink wink..

Nice supervisory team. Always cheerful and happy to jump in when needed. Boss occasionally drops of staff treats to say hello and checks in on the classes. I appreciate it always. Nice to be recognized!

Overall a great part time job to supplement my school teaching position. Highly recommend to work here or send youngsters to courses. 

I recommend Child Safe Canada if you love kids and kind staff. The office staff help make our jobs as facilitators run smoothly and are always there for questions and support.

The demographic of children at Child Safe Canada is from young aged 4+ to 13 as an average. This allows teachers a chance to work with all different ages so the job has variety and stays interesting. As a university student in psychology and counselling I find great value in applying my education to my job and bringing my work experience to my education; just amazing!

We are supported to provide an inclusive environment and support varied learning needs. There is flexibility to adapt to the needs of each child. Well done Child Safe Canada.

I have really enjoyed my time here at Child Safe Canada.  The Director is very hands on, passionate about the programming, and truly cares about her employees.

My job encompasses many different administrative tasks, and has allowed me to learn the in's and out's of the company as a whole.  I am never bored and the team at Child Safe is very cohesive and supportive.

I felt part of the team from the very start, and unlike other jobs, I was given as much support as required while learning and training. Once I felt confident, I was also given ample opportunity to grow an become independent in my duties.

Although I am a past administrative employee I feel I can offer a unique perspective. The most impressive thing is that we really were expected to walk our talk. We had an impressive health and safety program and often got 100% on out COR provincial scores ( which is not common) 

The energy and professionalism always impressed me and the director was hands on so always knew what was happening in the classrooms; we were a team and I enjoyed that. The kids were first in every activity and in all planning. This is the way every company should be. I’d highly recommend working there, you will feel valued and have fun for sure.

Great workplace culture that encourages growth and trying new things. Always new experiences, projects and tasks, but management and team work together to make "new" feel exciting instead of stressful. 

A great job if you like learning bits of everything, but could be tough for people need a set routine every day. That said, management is flexible and accommodating, so long as you express your needs clearly. 

A good mix of independent and team work with a friendly team!

The course material is always being updated and I like that for the kids. They keep up well on Red Cross updates which never end. I really like that they help with that also

The only wish I had was to be full time but maybe one day it will happen. Great company overall/they really do rock

Really enjoy this job!!!!- Well organized and caring company. What I enjoy the most is the respect shown to staff; having time to attend appointment during work hrs without being grilled, atmosphere of respect, and the pay scales are fair and increase with time. Started low but doing well now. The more time/effort you put into your job the more your salary will increase and so will your long term security-

I am a fairly new employee (1.5years) compared to some of the long term employee. Really good training and support. So far everyone has been amazing and helpful. It’s nice to choose when you want to work because my other job at a school overlaps. 

One thing I really like is they always confirm your classes and you have someone through phone you check in out of work with so there’s always support. Parents and kids love the classes

I loved working here. Great activities for the kids. The inclusive atmosphere is bar none. All kids were welcomes and we were expected to see every child as equal and meet needs as best as we could- very nice!

Had soooooo many evaluations but I guess thats good. New workbooks like Home Alone are great for the kids- so colourful they loved them
