transporting kids from their homes to the city kidz theatre, program runs on the buss, in the theatre and on the ride home. involves playing games, singing songs and telling stories with intentions of instilling each child to follow their dreams and have faith. the volunteering experience enabled me to give back to my community, it taught me how to take initiative and be a leader. how to take responsibility and meet expectations. the hardest part of the job is staying patient and problem solving, when helping on the bus or in the theatre with the kids. Every part is enjoyable

Amazing atmosphere, and great staff and volunteers to work with! Their passion to help children is truly remarkable and their hard work shows through every Saturday program. A very enjoyable place. The time spent here and will be treated well for your service. Though difficult at times when children don't want to leave their parents for a few hours, it's always fun to serve them pizza, see them completely let loose and enjoy themselves, especially seeing them leave and are so eager to come back the next week.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Employees are so nice and the work is seasonal but very busy had a great experience

I didn’t find it stressful at all I found the weeks went by very fast 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Generally friendly ,everyone is supportive  and help out when the bulk of donations come in so your never alone 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy always things to do or help out with

We dance, play and teach the kids about god. we learn why god is so important to everyone, our captains are very nice and we respect them very much. Our co-workers treat each other with respect we show each other love. The hardest part of my job is when a child misbehaves and disrespect us leaders, the most enjoyable part about the job is seeing and playing with the kids.

The people (staff) here were great people, caring, fun and up beat, they where remodels for me and other kids here. Before volunteering as a leader, I attended city kids and always looked up them, making me want to be a leader when I was thirteen.

A typical day at work consisted of positively communicating with children. High enthusiasm required. Communication with other staff is also required. Serving food and preparing it is included. Very fun working with a large number of kids. It's nice to see smiles on their faces. Not one moment is wasted.

Fun work place very welcoming and productive. the best part about this job was the fact that you could see the difference you made in the kids lives. Being able to dress up and decorate for them was great let alone get paid from it. Had a great time with the City Kidz family.

Working with City Kidz is a pleasant experience for me. I was working with the Graphic Design Department to create marketing materials that blended with their current brand identity. I also did a few re-branding projects for them.

I had a great time wrapping presents at City Kidz. Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcome. They gave us a tour of the location and told us where the presents we were wrapping go to, and how they help kids make their Christmas special. Overall 10/10.
