I have worked there for over 16 months at two different branches- one that was kinda hellish in a city centre and one that is in a seaside town which is so much nicer. The city centre job was in summer and I was trained during back to school/summer period which was horrid- I was very inexperienced and thrust into the busiest time with insufficient training and a horrible, passive aggressive boss who only cared about sales and not people (often lying to customers and pressuring them to buy things that weren't right). The seaside town one is much nicer- my boss now is kind, thoughtful and cares about my life outside the job and considers this with shifts. So basically small branches= good. Big city branches= bad.

I really enjoy working for Clarks. A typical days work consists of dealing with customers and assisting them with our products as well as maintaining a high level of cleanliness around the store. I have learned how to conduct outstanding customer service and to be responsible for my own targets as well as the store's. I love the people that I work with, it is like a little family, we all get on so well. The hardest part of the job is dealing with customers that aren't happy and making sure that the issue is solved efficiently and effectively. I love my job, I love helping people in experiencing many different personalities on a daily basis, not one day is the same and that is why I love retail.

Typically, Clarks is like your regular retail store. You clean, you sell, you provide an experience and a service to your customers. Can be particularly competitive, but can be made fun thanks to the charming management and staff. With starting there as a young 18 year old, I've grown up with the place, and I've come to learn a lot from it - the people passing through. The weekends can be busy and stressful but the rewards and benefits from the job are nice. My only downside is the low hours as they only tend to hire people part time and only keep management to full Tim time

Greeted customers determined their needs and wants    
    Always sold customers based on their needs.. Always enjoyed meeting the public ,  as each person was a whole new challange, which i thrive on.   Always made the most of every shift always keeping in mind the days store quota,  as well as my own.     My goal was to make every sale a memorable one.     
  Company  did'nt provide a positive a and productive work enviroment for their employees.

I went on a training course to learn how to fit children's shoes correctly. I worked in a team and had someone check my fitting to make sure it was accurate. I was trained on the till to process payment. I learned how to deal with customers and worked in a team of 5. I had my original interview with the manager of the store and she monitored my progress well. i enjoyed working with families and the excitement children get when they get new shoes.

No set manager for months since the managers been fired one after another. Each manager has been inconsiderate/rude/careless. And there’s honestly too much drama going on between coworkers, considering it’s just a shoe store. The slacky workers get more hours than people who are reliable and management has such a bias. It’s a fun job sometimes and it is sometimes easy but it’s sometimes a difficult environment. 

One of my favourite company's. Great opportunity to advance with the company as they are always encouraging members of staff to work their way up through managerial positions. Many of the managers have worked their way up from stock room assistants and sale assistants. I would recommend a career in Clarks to anyone who is ambitious to work their way to the top.

A typical day at work included selling shoes to clients and placing the merchandise on the floor. While working at Clark's I learned more about the Clark's brand and the other brands that are carried in store. Workplace culture was fun. The hardest part of the job was the long commute from where I was living. The most enjoyable part of the job was the culture in general.

Work towards a proactive and automatic reporting cycle.
Cricially solve daily opportunities with a variety of departments between the 2 North American offices.
Plan and forecast demand of the the business weekly.
Communicate project time lines between departmens and work towards meeting deadlines.

Most enjoyable part of my position is collaborating with a great team!

Clark’s is a great place to work with great staff and management. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and it’s great pay! I couldn’t recommend Clark’s as a company enough. Reasonable hours and good holiday and staff parties. You get rewarded well when doing tasks well and overall just a great environment to work in
