Working on 4100D shovels and Bucyrus drills cleaning the housing, cab, slip rings, saddle blocks along with fire watch for welding purposes. I learned how to keep a drill and 4100D shovels tidy and clean for the operators mechanics and electricians. Disorganized management due to the fact he is a young boss. My coworkers were a pleasure to work with. The hardest part of the job was cleaning slip rings in confined space. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to work under a contract for a large company and seeing industry at a large scale.

They work with the individual for hours..


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
On call. 12 hours shifts at the mines can be stressfull sometimes.

Friendly and totally understanding 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive at the shop.
Grab paperwork and a radio.
Get yiur truck assignment.
Proceed to the mine site
Get your duties from the supervisor at teck.
Complete tasks.
Return to shop at the end of day.

Getting along with colleagues 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not knowing you'll be fired for a urine test, fair warning for anyone

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Straightforward and proactive 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to shop, get vehicle assigned, go up the mountain, get on site at warehouse. Put orders together for EVR and helped move from one warehouse to another.

Work hours can be stupid busy with little care for employees with families. Management will agrue with experienced employees about rules and regulations for jobs they are doing. Little reguard for right and wrong. Safety is a joke many employees asked to do things that are unsafe and unaccpetable. Company trucks and equipment are ran into the ground.

The owner doesn’t care you’re just a statistic. You’re just there to make him money and they run you to the ground.  Eventually, towards one year, they will get rid of you depending on how many new people they cycled through their employees quit quickly.  

I would highly recommend to get an audit on this company and watch your paycheques.

Just all around terrible company to work for. Bad managers / supervisors, bad coworkers (most of whom just sit around and get mad that they are at work. Expected to sit and wait by a phone 24/7 and get yelled at because you are unavailable for a last minute shift because you decided to have a life outside of waiting to maybe go to work. 

If you’re liked they will ruin your name to future employers so you can’t leave and the pay is never the same even if you had the same amount of hours on each pay cheque. Will also reward drug users with a supervisors position and leave the hard working with nothing 

It’s a great place to work and learn but it’s really stressful and you get to meet a lot of amazing people and also you get to learn different skills and also have experience in different areas but it’s really stressful.

Long hours for good overtime(if wanted). Jobs can be very easy and clean to hard and dirty depending on you and the company’s needs.
I really enjoyed working for Clarksons. Great team very uplifting.
