The company has the potential to improve and grow but the office staff are totally reluctant to change anything. They have no knowledge of rope access and no knowledge of building maintenance but they still are happy to poorly quote jobs, send new guys out into the field with unprepared equipment and vehicles. The company is about as cowboy as they come. Go here if you want a reasonable pay cheque but if you take your career seriously and professionally, this is not the place to be. Someone could easily get hurt and the office staff couldn’t care less about your safety. Dangerous cowboy company.

I was hired in November 2017 and was posted to a place where I had Good Cooperative Attitude from my Cleaner Co-Worker and the Strata President.

Then I was forced to take Transfer to North Vancouver where I had Good Cooperative Attitude from the Strata President & Council but their Cleaner was Rude and Obnoxious all the time.

After 3 months of that, I took another Transfer to New Westminster where I ended up dealing with an Abusive Council Members and a Rude and Obnoxious Assistant Caretaker.  

When I reported the Abuse to Cleantech, instead of dealing with the Issues, they Dismissed Me without Good Cause.

This Gig started out well but then went down hill in no time.

Cleantech is one of the first companies in Canada I've worked for where I can actually see the effort being put into improving the way things are. Staff is diverse and inclusive. Our processes are being streamlined more, so everyone knows what they are doing. Management puts an effort into understanding what employees need from them to succeed. Everyone acts as a team vs fending for themselves - that is great. Hard work is actually appreciated and rewarded. And if you have any family/health commitments, they are very understanding and supportive. I'm glad I'm where I am.

The company has made stark changes since the time I've joined. There have been many changes with the processes and departments and as a result, workplace culture has significantly improved.

Staff are very friendly and work well with one another. The type of culture that is pushed for a smaller company would be described as "willing to help any department".

If you are looking to start your career or build upon your skills, Cleantech is a great place to start and learn your trade.

I joined this company as a brand new level 1 rope tech and within 8 months of working, I have more than 950 logged rope hours. The work environment and crew is great. Really supportive and helpful. I learnt a lot working with them. Very inclusive too. Loved every part of it. Piecework is also good for making money. Definitely coming back next season. Lot's of growth opportunity too. They provide you with the gear and they are also putting me through my level 2 training next season. 

I've work with this company for years now as a Caretaker. I've seen so many changes over the years in the office staff but recently they have become more responsive and professional if I need anything.

There are cleaners that subcontract for Cleantech in the building I am in and I've seen them be changed from time to time but I think that's normal in the industry.

Cleantech is the first job I have had where I am excited to get to work in the morning. A very positive workplace with lots of support and a great culture. Everyone shows up and works hard every day. There is a large focus on social functions on a weekly and monthly basis. Senior management and ownership are approachable and truly invested in the development of all employees. 

They gave me the opportunity that no other company gave me at my start in Canada (as a new immigrant).

After 5+ years working for Cleantech, I have experienced the great team supporting environment that they promote from day 1.

I have nothing but gratitude!

The company offers a great work environment to be a part of. It makes you feel like you are helping shape the direction of the company. There were a lot of changes during my time on staff but towards the end of my tenure I think it was left in a better place than it was before.

Cleantech treats their employees well and the management is really terrific. There was a lot of freedom with high-rise window cleaning and opportunity for growth. Employees were trusted and paid well which made for a positive work environment.
