I understand and appreciate stats and the need to hit your targets and quotas, but having to handle customer escalations in a minimal amount of time or you're penalized is not an inspiring situation. Sometimes calls and issues need more time to be resolved than 3 minutes. You should be praised for helping customers, not yelled at for going over the "given time" for the call.

Budget conscious company where balancing the books meant removing staff from the equation.  Very nerve racking to work there as yoiu never knew if you would next person to be part of their major RIFs
