DO NOT WORK THERE

Management and Safety will screw you over. You are disposable to them. It is not a matter of "if" they will, it is a matter of "when" they will.
 
You are paid on commission and will be lucky to be taking home $1,000.00 every two weeks. Yet they expect you to work 12-14 hour days, 12 days on and 2 days off, plus be oncall for one of those weeks and maybe get 1-2 calls a day. $50.00-$100.00 per day.
$100.00 / 14 hr = $7.14 per hour.

One driver, before he quit, told me his cheque was $650.00 for two weeks work. His truck broke down and it took them 4 days to fix it. 
There was no spare truck for him to use. He found work elsewhere and took it.
 
Cliff's has lost so much business, there are currently driver's there who have not had calls for 2-3 days straight.
 
The entire hiring package is designed to screw over the driver in the event of even the smallest of mistakes. Damage your truck, it comes of your cheque, damage a customers vehicle or item, it comes off your cheque. 

They do not stand up for their drivers nor back them up. Even if you do not do any damage, you will be accused by the customer and found guilty by safety, if you do not have pictures to protect yourself. Even i you have pictures but the area in question is not clear, you are found at fault and the damages come of your cheque.

The equipment is old and worn out. They are just slapping new paint and graphics on them. The so called new equipment is actually used.

Your a number  plain and simple. Unless you’re licking and kiss  your boss  feet to be a part of the top feet kissers. I would pass on any position they put out there for you. pay was good but management is terrible . Only a few good dispatchers as well that are actually very decent and nice people.

 So at least 2 positives I can actually say. But in regards to the stress and baloney they put you threw. very bad  up keep on the trucks for any safety and mechanical. 

Anything you point out to higher then management to protect your position.
 Regarding things to be fixed properly so it protects you and the customers  vehicle .
so you can go home every night in one piece.

If you value your time, family and want time to enjoy life, make a better living  and most of all you put your life first. 

Trust me Don’t apply here.




This was my favorite job that I ever had.  There was nothing typical about working for Cliff's.  Being on call 24 hours a day was fine with me.  I was always prepared to go out on the next call.  Every day was truly an adventure.  We hardly ever went to the same place twice, never knew how long we would be away or what was waiting for us when we got there.  My co-workers are true professionals and I was always amazed to watch them extract a vehicle.  We worked in harsh conditions sometimes, blizzards, white outs, freezing rain and I loved all of it.  I guess what I enjoyed was the total randomness of situations that we were called to
I loved it and I would certainly do it again.

Worst place ever to work for.

You as the Driver are deemed at fault automatically for any indecent involving you or any vehicle you drive.

Management and safety are not your friends. They will 100% through you under the bus.

You are constantly taking photographs to cover your backside of the customers who make a damage claim. And taking pictures of the truck you drive before and after your shift.

They worked you 14 hour days and the only reason you got days off where because its mandated by the government.

You are on call to go out on calls, its supposed to be on a rotation but there is such a high turn over rate that you wind up on call for months at a time

Pay less than $10.00 per hour. 12 hour shifts so 60 hours per week. Then messaged that I need to work another day, that make 72 hours, just to make $500.00 a week? Welfare pays $400.00 a week. Lol. Then if someone says you scratched their vehicle, you have to pay for it. 
The workers are nice, but it is managed terribly. As a driver, you have to have a very high skill level but the management treats you like an unskilled worker. Don't even bother appling.

Large trucks in urban areas
Management!!!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible management, employees are numbers only no positive feed back

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get your job assignment, travel to location and do the job. Pray no incidents or mechanical issues as all will be your fault

Manager rewards favorite employees boyfriend and family
Commission  work but they want you to sit at drivers room for the 12 hours with no pay
Equipment failing
Don't expect empathy or consideration 
Beware to professionals looking for a career
Hard to work for due to management 
They offer safety bonus but you will never get it if you get on managers bad side 


management is non existent. management is lazy and gives only to her friends, no support from management at all once you are hired. They go through staff very fast for that reason alone. i never saw a happy driver working there. if there is damage on a vehicle they charge the employee with the costs ! its double dipping as there insurance covers it. driver has to pay the full cost of it anyway. NO TRAINING throw you in cold. No nothing, dangerous goods, no class training. sad place to work.

Field staff are wonderful, all the operators are good guys. The management team is an absolute joke, they fire people for disagreeing with them, they refuse to actually spend money on safety items that will actually make a difference for field staff. We were informed that it was deemed not a priority by the upper management. DO NOT WORK HERE. You do not matter to this place.

If you are an adrenaline junky this place is for you.  Pay is the highest in the local industry, and you get to go places you never expected to go, do things that you never thought were possible, and see things that will blow your mind.
