Picture this: You are new to the company, hitting great numbers, still getting used to the culture, the job and they fire you unexpectedly. You are performing better than people who have been there longer, hit every number they expect you to and more, take their personal attack feedback to heart and they still fire you unexpectedly. 
You can do everything right but if you are unwilling to lie to customers to sell one extra car a day, then you will be fired. If you have a bad back that means you slouch or have bad posture, you will be called 'unprofessional.' If you are genuinely a kind person that connects with people you are too 'friendly.' 
They will tell you to find what works for you and then tell you your method is completely wrong. They will say that it's not a call centre experience and then tell you that you're too friendly with your coworkers. They will punish you if you work-from-home even when the policy was that you could work-from-home one day a week. They will provide free snacks and coffee but support is no where to be seen. 
They will claim to be fully transparent and then lie to customers. They will say they do things differently than other dealerships and then purposely screw over customers. More than 50% of their customers have a customer experience complaint and they think it's a normal amount. 
The best part of the job will be your co-workers, the people in the same role as you, but be too friendly and that's an issue. Make your work fun and enjoyable, now you're not working hard enough. 
If you're looking to do weekly meetings to be told how terrible you are at your job even when you are doing good then this is the right company for you. 

Oh, and if you work there and buy a car from them... expect them to fire you (without cause) right before the Holidays. They love to purposely ruin people's lives. If you happen to get through your probation period then you can relax. They fire people and hire people like it's nothing. 

NO job security. NO support. Just a few people who are letting power get to their head and are masterful at gaslighting.

This company has absolutely no leadership or accountability. Management is completely disconnected, and when problems come up, nobody takes responsibility — they just point fingers and hope issues disappear on their own. Almost everything promised in the interview was either exaggerated, never delivered, or turned out to be a flat-out lie. They sell you a dream to get you in the door, but the reality is nothing like what they describe.

You’re made to feel guilty for leaving at your scheduled shift time, even if you’ve completed all your work. Work-life balance is advertised but not respected at all. If you aren’t regularly staying late, you’re viewed as not working hard enough, no matter how much you actually accomplish during your shift.

Quality does not matter here whatsoever. The only focus is numbers and quantity. Cutting corners is encouraged as long as it pushes out more volume. If you take pride in your work or try to do things properly, you’re treated as slow or difficult instead of appreciated.

There is no support, no appreciation, and no effort from management to improve the workplace. Turnover is extremely high because people get fed up and leave, yet leadership never stops to ask why — they just continue the same cycle over and over.

Overall, this is a toxic and misleading workplace built on false promises and poor management. I would not recommend working here to anyone.

Pros
Mechanics in the shop were respectful and appreciated the work I did in the parts department. Co workers were really nice and taught me alot 

Cons 
Management was unprofessional and hostile. I was repeatedly pulled into the back room and spoken to in a disrespectful and belittling manner instead of being given clear guidance or feedback.
I was sent home for being late despite notifying my manager in advance. There was no consistency or fairness in how rules were applied.
When I was terminated, I was not given a reason and was told to leave immediately. I asked to stay inside briefly so I could call an Uber home, as there was an active snowstorm outside. That request was denied, forcing me out into unsafe conditions.
This experience made it clear that employee well-being and basic respect are not priorities here. Despite doing my job well and even receiving daily thanks from mechanics for improving parts turnaround, I was treated as disposable.
If you’re considering working here, be aware that management behavior and job security can be unpredictable, and you may not be treated with basic decency.

This workplace has been a frustrating experience overall. Employees are penalized for being even a minute late, while favoritism and bias seem to go unchecked.

There’s no real safe way to raise concerns. HR and management appear too closely aligned, which makes it difficult to speak up without worrying about consequences. Sharing honest feedback often feels risky, as it can be taken personally.

Weekly meetings feel unproductive and forced, with expectations around participation that don’t add value to the work being done.

On the shop floor, basic tools are shared between multiple technicians, which slows down productivity and makes the job harder than it needs to be. At the same time, there are many high-paying management roles filled by people who don’t seem to have practical experience in the automotive field, leading to micromanagement and a disconnect from day-to-day operations.

When they let you go without cause , they’re usual excuse is “ you do not fit the clutch culture” 

Overall, I would not recommend this workplace.

Management is deeply disconnected from the actual work. The production manager appears completely unqualified—has never turned a wrench in his life, lacks basic practical knowledge, and seems better suited to testing office chairs than running production. Team leads present themselves as experts but consistently demonstrate a lack of understanding and leadership. There is no onboarding process: no uniform was provided which was promised, no introduction and expectations were given it was just assumed you know everything, was provided with no proper tool box with tools and constantly having to borrow. If you are someone who cares for quality and adhering to ministry safety standards this is not the place for you. Manager promotes quick no look safeties and cares only for the target number of the day. Overall, the operation feels disorganized, unprofessional, and poorly managed. Do not waste your time at this organization 

I would not recommend this workplace for apprentices or individuals who are new to the industry and looking to develop their skills. In my experience, there was limited structured support or mentorship for learning and growth.

The team of technicians is generally positive and collaborative, which was a highlight. However, compensation did not always appear to reflect experience levels consistently. Pay seemed to vary based on hire date rather than tenure or skill level.

I also found that communication from management and HR could be inconsistent at times, which made expectations unclear. In addition, access to tools was sometimes limited, and technicians were occasionally required to share commonly used equipment, which could slow down workflow.

This workplace has potential, but improvements in training, communication, and resource availability would make a significant difference for employees.

Management is bad, constantly changing rules or making up new stuff just to aggravate people. 
Team leads are useless, they do no work and do not help the team. 
Constantly being micro managed, always being watched. You can work hard every day, but if you don’t hit target once, they act like it’s the end of the world. Constantly increasing their target, forcing people to stay late or come on weekends. 
They do not like to take advice from their employees, they just want to squeeze as much as possible out of someone. 
Morning meetings are pointless, it’s just to always say how we need to hit “x” amount which is always the same unless they increase the numbers. 
Service side gets treated like lessers, sales people get special treatment, ie. free food, drinks, incentives while service side gets none of that. 

Overall bad company to work for, at least on the service side, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. 

Join this company if you’re comfortable working short-term &  changing jobs. Zero upper management skills - horrible work culture - hiring & firing is a joke. Your dedication or experience does not matter - rather than relocating employee across different roles or locations you will be fired on the day they don't need you - If investors stop funding, guess what? You’re fired! I am surprised how labour board has not reviewed them. Nothing can be done unless their higher / upper management is replaced in Production & University - they have no clue on how to run the company. Bring back the people that worked until June & you still have scope!

Good opportunity to start something fresh due to cheap labour, get to learn new skills and softwares, Lack of management support.
The hardest part is you feel demotivated when you have no support from the management/HR but you have to survive to prove that your ability even though it gets unrecognized by everyone. HAHAHAHAHAHA**** Good part was working at a fast paced environment you dont realize when its already 5pm lol
