I worked for cobra enterprises for over a year before deciding to go to school. I worked on the structure’s side as an install tech so I was out of town a lot which I knew going in. I’ve worked for alot of companies and I can say with confidence that the management is top notch. You can tell they hire and retain people who are good people to work with, everyone was easy to get along with. 
Its funny reading other reviews of people who gave 1 star because they got fired because when I was there they only fired people who absolutely deserved to be fired and would have gotten fired at any company, won’t get into he details but you can take my word for it. 10/10 would recommend.

Typical day would be to go to tool box talk the. Go to your assigned job for the module homes. Didn’t learn a lot they want you to do it on your own and fast also. Management is a joke and they don’t care how good of a job you do or how well you do and don’t miss work doesn’t matter to them your just a number. Hardest part of the job is worrying about the bosses if your getting it done fast enough if not your canned then. And the most enjoyable part of the job is working with the other j men and the apprentices they were awesome but upper management not good And the jobs and electrical work for the module homes were awesome just.

Management provides everything to help achieve your goals. It’s the most enjoyable experience I have had in the electrical trade and was able to look forward to going to work everyday. Theres a lot of opportunity to grow in the company and even when things get slow they will find ways to keep you involved. Definitely worth the drive to Beausejour.

Most of the employees are great but a lot of younger workers so there tends to be some drama and even one of the managers in particular seems to like to be a part of it. Decent pay and chance to grow but easily fired if they not like you. Also was told what they expected of me and what role they wanted me to play but then after I was let go they told another employee it was because I wasnt doing the opposite of what they wanted of me so that doesn’t make much sense. 

Coming to Cobra was the best decision i have ever made. The working environment is second to none and every single person is extremely helpful and supportive. I feel appreciated as a coworker and as a person. My options are valid and i feel like i can be myself and that is acceptable. 10 out of 10, if you are every thinking of making a switch, this is the company you want to work for. 

With this company its about who you know vs what you know. My apprenticeship there should have been more as “general labor”.  Found it very hard to learn new things as an apprentice would elsewhere but they leave it up to the journeymen to do everything. The management wasn’t clear on how to use the online apps as well which made an excuse for them to get rid of ya. This place is where people come and go every week.

The company lacked support and direction.

Poor environment, lack of support for new employees. No training for a qualified director.

I have no issue with Cobra Mechanical, the other reviews on here seem to be coming from people who couldn’t cut it, it’s hard work, always something to do, timelines are important, if you can’t meet the timelines you’re expected to be transparent and communicate well, then learn from your previous mistakes and make the correction next time. Nobody is perfect and the office understands that, in my experience it’s a very understanding hard working team that is a pleasure to be around.

When things are good just dont make a mistake or they will make excuses to get rid of you. tried to make be perform a job which I felt was unsafe and as a result was let go and brought up things that were not true just to say I was not following job safety. they brought up things that were not documented or brought to my attention when they let me go.
