I personally had no problem while working at coffee time in Pefferlaw. The issue was changing owners and they frequently have different ones because sales never go well. The reason isn't because of the employment it comes from their negligence of costumer and worker review. They blindside any and all ideas or concepts the employees or costumers have. The owners currently are very cheap and give people terrible portions in comparison to what they pay. The only benefit that I had while there was I never had an issue getting hours (35 at the very least per week) and that you were able to eat whenever it wasn't busy. Food and drinks were free for the employees, which was nice. But you don't get any breaks because of low volume later in the shift.

Great and friendly fast paced environment due to the customers, I believe.  Drive through was challenging at the start, but once a routine was in place, all went smoothly.  Co-workers were friendly and easy to work with.  Management was NOT understanding or compassionate in dealing with personal life changes, and unfortunately, my job ended.  The hardest part of the job was dealing with management, but the most enjoyable part was changing the environment to a friendly, up-beat restaurant atmosphere, which focused on customer service, rather than treating the customers like sheep.

I really like to work with different categories of customers.  That's why I said it is exciting and challenging.  Everyday I see some very nice customers and sometimes irate customers, but I handle them with patience and calm them down with professional manner, so he/she comes back to our store again.  Because in every company we want customers for long time, not only for one day.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was some of the people I worked with. But there was one employee that was rude and thought she ran the store which she didn’t and told me to mind my own business and yelled at me in front of customers. I will never go there if she is there. She is rude and ignorant

Coffee Time was my first job when I was 15. My boss was welcoming and made the experience pleasant and one to remember. I remember when I went in for the interview and she said, "We all have to start somewhere." I started my shifts in the early morning around 6a.m., and I would finish around 2p.m.. I learned what a fair employer is and what it's like to work in a fast paced environment. The tip money was amazing. The hardest part of this job was probably dealing with the rude impatient customers.

My day was a nice balance of cleaning, baking, and serving customers. I closed every time I worked and loved working alone. That is where I got my tastes for the 3-11pm shift and it is my most desired shift. Seeing as I was the only guy working there it was like swimming in a sea of estrogen with co-workers. I have no issue what so ever working with woman, I respect all races, genders and creeds. Overall this job was my favourite.

Pros
It is a franchise business, the owner was very nice and kind, the foods and coffees are really high quality.
Cons
The headquarter is not supportive, they thought the franchisees are earning money because of the brand. They always thinking how to get money from franchisees.
Advice to Management
do some more marketing and try to support more to franchise stores.

A fast-paced store. Management is very supportive. The most enjoyable part of the job is working alongside good colleagues, and meeting a lot of good people who shows you their appreciation of what you do. Working the graveyard shift is scary since you don't know what lurks in the dark. Good vibes create good experience.

A typical day would consist of preparing baked goods in the early morning.   Then handled store front and cash.

The workplace culture was good.

Management was very easy going and accommodating.
I did not find the job hard rather a learning opportunity.

The most enjoyable part is the early hours and the regular customers smiling in the morning.

the first experience work for me was awesome. i learn a lot of thing at there and i had really good time there but when i was at two last semester of school i thought to need more time to study that was my only reason that i quit my job even i never had problem about how far my job place is,and i always arrived on time.
