Owners are thinking so far into the future of the company they have no idea of the day to day. Managers disrespect the owners out loud in the office. The office is not wheelchair accessible, therefore not inclusive to potential employees. They are not loyal to employees, and at any minute you can loose your job, whether you have been there for 3 months or 10 years. 

Company grew too big too fast and they don't care to pause and catch up. No training - Sink or swim as someone else said. 

If you are looking to be over worked, have ZERO work life balance, drink the koolaid, then this is the place for you.

Toxic company with a culture that promotes burnout. Very little work-life balance. Management does not foster growth or treat anyone with respect. Competitive in a bad way. Expectations are extremely high, but resources to achieve them do not exist. Recognition for work is never given, and the salaries do not match the workload. Unpaid overtime is always expected just to stay on top of things. Forever changing policies, with no clear solutions ever given. 

Collective Arts is becoming a big name in Ontario for more than just beer - a necessary move in this industry right now. Along the way and among the many changes, the people have been nothing but amazing, my team is built of people with diverse artistic backgrounds and everybody truly gets along so well.

If you have creative ideas that you'd like to see put into action, management is all about giving you the runway to make it happen.

Fun company to work for, great team to work with, the people are fun and solid pay. I've learned so much in my 4 years of working here. Fast paced & high pressured environment. 

Flexibility on where I can work - at home, coffee shops, at the office. We get a monthly allotment of beer and merch to take home and are encouraged to bring friends and family for complimentary beer in their taproom.

The coaching and mentoring program is a good step in the right direction.

You can feel the passion for the company from the top management down to the entry level positions. Great company culture where everyone works together to get the job done. 

Can be a sink or swim environment where you have to work independently to find the answers to questions yourself. 

Always looking to hire within the organization which gives allot of room for career growth

Consistent poor decision making with essentially no proper accounting department, lay offs have become the number one option to save money over anything else.

Lay offs without cause have become the norm and morale has hit rock bottom despite the front-facing facade of a close-knit work community and culture. 

This company has a creative initiative, but don't let the fun beer cans fool you. There is no loyalty here. They will terminate you with no warning and no explanation. I heard stories of poor employment experiences here, but I didn't want to believe them. Now I'm starting to think they're all true.

A "cool" company, does not mean it's a good company. Look after yourself, because they will not.

Poor ownership who dont care and would probably sell their mother for a nickle. Brewmaster who cant think on his own.  All his beer that I have tried has a bad after taste.  The production manager kisses the ownership in front of them and bad mouths them when they are not around.  The sales side are like little spoiled children. Don'twaste

Learned new software, and new processes, and different types of accounting that I had not yet experienced

Working at CAB has been a fun and rewarding experience. It is a very supportive and collaborative culture and there is excellent HR support for the size of the business. The hiring process was very organized. Onboarding was excellent and there is opportunity for growth and advancement.
