Always an exciting technical job.  There is always more to learn.  One of the best supportive structured companies I've ever had the chance to work with.  Unlike most employers, who expect people to be fully trained, BID Group is looking to advance you knowledge.  Don't know other companies that train their employees on AB Rockwell as a new employee.  Most hireable positions are looking for people fully trained in a high-demand industry.  Guess what, not likely to happen with what your offering.  BID is a fully interactive training team: if you don't know it, well we'll teach you it.

It can be a high-stress job, working on automation equipment that impacts production.  Work-life can be hard to navigate at times, but the team does care about well being.  It's about making sure you can be heard and are transparent with your request.

It is also a fulfilling job that seems that teach you knowledge in network protocol, computer programming, ladder logic, ai setup and maintenance, IIoT setup and maintenance, mechanical repairs and replacement of heavy production equip, and I've just started list a few items.

There's alot of great people at Deltech and it's a small, friendly and productive workplace. However, it has been bought by BID Group who has no idea how to monitor its child companies. While middle management carries the load and keeps the company alive, upper management is belligerent and incompetent. With such high turnover, the place appears to be a sinking ship. 

Unfortunately, salaries are egregiously below industry standard and expect to work loads of overtime as there is not enough staff for workload. Good memories, but not an enjoyable or professional work environment.

I work in the salmon arm division of bid group technologies, we are the smallest shop in the bid group of companies as well as the lowest paid shop. We are unorganized, in need of updated equipment (welders, forklift, yard organization, yard maintenance etc.) and neglected in comparison to the rest of the companies within the bid group. Although I have all of this to say I still like working at the shop and very much enjoy my time there. I don't mind all the stuff in between, it just makes the days more interesting.

Don’t work here ,management is terrible, no raises for apprentices until you complete each level,  act as if they care about safety but the just want to keep their records clear. If you are new to the trades you most likely will be cleaning toilets etc. For a while before you actually do anything with your trade.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Poor safety record.
Poor on the job training.
Often having to wear the same coveralls for a month, sometimes longer.

Good talk at the interview, then everything is a lie.
If you apply for production side downstairs you are nothing, if you apply upstairs , then everything's GOOD.
Take your Listerine everyday so you are ready to lick.
I do not recommand that company at ALL

If you're thinking about working with this company I suggest going somewhere else. People I worked with were a certain type of people that if you aren't like them you are an out cast 

Enjoyed every aspect of my time with Bid. As a ticketed welder/ironworker got to use both aspects of my trades. Along with on site fitting and fabrication. 
Great planners and game plan

The title says all. A lot of people in different departments don't know what they are doing and are not qualified for their current job. It reflects by an overload of unfinished tasks dumped on other people. 

The company provides enough opportunity for career growth and competitive pay. Very dedicated employees. The top management could be more transparent about the vision.
