Awful place to work.

Very competitive environment in a hostile way (i.e. back stabbing coworkers) 

Lots of violence in the workplace issues were swept under mat and not addressed.

Lacking compassion, work life balance, etc. 

Will allow employees to be harrassed in an attempt to have them voluntarily quit, before firing them.
HR tries to con ex-employees into signing a release form preventing the ex-employees from bad mouthing the company/sharing their experience.

Overall very poorly managed. The individuals being supported were great though.  

CLASS took a chance on me, fresh out of college. I spent 11 years working for them, advancing my skills and career. CLASS allowed me the opportunity to work on passion projects along the way, helping the people I supported as well as the community. 

Residents and Staff are great to work with. Lots of training. Not a lot of room for advancement. Good wages. Good benefits. However lots of potential for violence in the workplace. I don't like how management deals with health and safety issues especially violence in the workplace. They often don't put the safety of their staff first. There are currently lots of issues around this recently and 3 dedicated, long term staff were recently fired for bringing these issues up. 

Constantly busy with helping the individuals with their daily living routines and behavioral protocols. There is times when there is staff shortages and are filled by agency staff then dealing with individuals who have behavioral problems and are violent causing injury to themselves or others including staff. The best thing is the knowledge that you made a person's life better.

Everyone was so welcoming and great at training me to work in this new environment. While the days went by slow, the work (as a student) was very doable and enjoyable. I feel I learned a lot about this type of work and the patience and compassion that goes into it. 

Accountable leadership, they care about you and your growth, overall the job can be stressful because it’s own nature (working with high behavioral clients) but management helps you to balance your hours, they give yo training , they support you as are respectful,

I have been employed with CLASS for about five years and love working for them.  My schedule is good, pay and benefits are good, and the teams are amazing.  Sometimes we are short staffed but other than that, this is a great place to work.

CLASS is staff and person supported centred. 
CLASS offers employees a lot of flexibility and different work environments which range from working in a program to working in the community with lots of community activities. Employees are offered  a wide range of continued education. 

Mission statement is incorrect for this company. This agency lacks  value towards employees and people supported . A wide rage of negative gossip about the company is common when working within the houses and day programs.

Great work environment, the individuals are very warm people to work with. A lot of fun activities my only concern is there is no job security within class they are quick to dismiss there employees over nothing. Very high firing rate. They really don't value there employees.
