My initial enthusiasm for my position was significantly dampened following a transition in upper management. The new leadership has adopted intimidation as a motivational strategy and exhibits an excessive sense of self-importance. They perpetuate an illusory narrative of collective success and prosperity, likening it to a paradisiacal reward for our efforts. Meanwhile, they expect the workforce to toil in a subservient manner. 

The organization is plagued by a notably high attrition rate and displays blatant partiality, bestowing preferential treatment upon a select few who, in turn, bolster the management's self-esteem. The workplace is rife with disingenuous interactions, to the extent that the insincerity becomes overwhelming. The pervasive pretense has fostered a deeply toxic work culture. 

It is a relief to see that numerous individuals, weary of the persistent disregard, have chosen to seek opportunities beyond this film studio.

I spend in total 2 years working with "traditional' CMG development teams (Builder and Results), and this was without exception a genuinely enjoyable experience.

However, the CoFlow development effort, being the result of "cooperation" with larger corporate partners, was always difficult and challenging, as there was a perpetual corporate culture conflict between the smaller CMG and the (much) larger multi-national partners.

Location is good and the building is really nice and new. Benefits package is on par. On site cafeteria and free coffee is provided. Other than that management expects long hours. Leaders should take a leadership course. no values. This company is numbers focused not people focused, if you don’t want your seat anymore you are replaceable and they are happy to let you know this. 

I had a chance to work with two different groups, one mainstream, one set up as a partnership with outside companies.

The mainstream project was well managed and successful, i.e. based on agile and shipped product on a regular basis.

The partnership, unfortunately, devolved into being effectively an off-site development effort for the partners, with extremely difficult management challenges for my managers

People are respectful and friendly. Manager cares about our voices. Turnover is small and current managers are kind and logical. Flexibility and work-life balance is excellent. Co-workers are like family members.

This was a good place to work. Not much room for advancement. Benefits are good and work life balance is great. Some management could benefit from taking leadership and management courses to boost team morale. Overall, CMG is a good employer.

I enjoyed working there.  

The organization was very flat, and afforded lots of opportunity.

Engineers were given autonomy and management used a hands off approach.

The company has no vision. This is reflected in their man management and treatment of people. No value on experience and leadership skills from other jobs are considered. They promote based on seniority only. 

Reservoir Simulation Software Developer. Excellent infrastructure, new building in 2017. Excellent environment. Excellent and friendly people. Excellent products.

Management is nice and helpful
Could do better job of integrating verticals in rhe company. More training would be good too
