typical day at work: 8 hours is never enough and the higher boss who thinks she can do your job better always drills on you to work faster

i learned not to trust the bosses and even peers.  back stabbing is the norm.

higher management relies only on what middle managers tell them.  they don't know and they don't care about REAL staff concerns and issues.  middle managers naturally cover their behinds and blame everything to the "incompetent" staff which are easily replaceable and is very evident with high turnovers at staff levels.

workplace culture:  save yourself, trust no one, don't complain, hide from the bosses

hardest part of the job is actually not the job itself but surviving the toxic work environment.  no job security at all.  management can let you go without cause even if you have been performing very well through the years, follow rules and  you keep your clients happy 

most enjoyable part of  the job is engaging with clients who appreciate my hard work and dedication. ironically this client engagement is a waste of time in the eyes of management

This place is a nightmare, you are expected to be a leasing agent a community manager and admin collector and much more.
Other companies just ask you to rent the apartments and that's it... Everyone elss also pays commission... Nit these guys they expect you to do everything for almost minimal wage at this point.
Their turnover is insane... New people almost every 2 to 3 months.
Just be a leasing agent somewhere else where you don't have to do 7 different jobs!
You'll thank me later... Just don't do it!

Very organized and straight forward as to your duties

staff are treated professionally and fairly.  i learned to see more details in my work and value perfection.  co-workers are so easy to deal with.  i never had any issues with anyone.  on-call duties are a real challenge.  i have to make a lot of on-the-spot decisions taking into consideration a lot of factors (e.g. tenant safety and security, urgency of the situation, gravity of the problem, third party contractor, costs, etc.)

Although the company itself prides itself on work life balance, the reality is far from it.  It is in a thankless industry (property management in general is though) so not a lot of recognition is made as it is simply expected of you.  Staff is great, management however will keep asking more and more of you.

Great company.  Great deal of respect for the founders of Concert. Great working relationship with both the former CEO and present President of the company.

My first 11 years with the company were amazing but the last 2 years at the company were difficult and stressful.

Advancement and raise dont think about it unless you know someone or you flatter really well.

It is good company to work. Used to work for Concert until was bullied and harassed by property manager at head office property.

Very positive environment a lot of room for advancement! 
There was no work life balance. As an RSA we had to work first and last day of the month; due to the nature of the company. It's a great company to grow with.

Great place to learn about residential tenancy. Fun colleagues and managers, though some can be great bullies and initiators of office drama. Head office can make life difficult for employees too.
