Conestoga Cold Storage is a well organized facility that appooints tasks at the beginning of the shift that are to be carried out by the end of the shift. I learned valuable skills  in the shipping and receiving industry, how to work forklifts, reach trucks, battery powered walkees and truck loaders. I also learned how to stack skids in order from their first stop to their last. The management at conestoga was very friendly and helpful, never bothered to lend a hand or suggestion. Co- workers were very much the same as well as light hearted and friendly. The hardest part of my job was giving up the summer days to work afternoons, but the job itself wasnt tough, very straight forward. I really enjoyed getting to know other students at conestoga and lkearning to drive the heavy machinery, i fell that conestoga paved the way for me to enjoy other warehouse like jobs and excel with other companies.

Pay is good, lots of overtime but it goes by seniority.
Regardless of what they say you are and always will be a number there are just too many employees for it to be otherwise. 
Owner & Management know how to make it look like they give a care but they don't.
That's why they're successful, they know how to play the game and put on a front.
It's the same way they get accounts.
Anytime they have a problem they throw money at it.
Seniority is everything there. Your shift will probably be horrible for a long time. 
Don't do anything ridiculous and you'll have a job for life. Don't expect to get rich from it and kissing up will only get you so far.
Go there, do your work and make your money and you really don't even have to work that hard.

I thought that this facility was high ranked in management, but I noticed that with me having warehouse experience in my past that I was authorized by a couple foremen to operate all the machinery, yet so many co-workers were upset at seeing me operate other machinery that they haven't touched since they started as frustration got built in the facility as I was just wanting to complete my work accurately and safely and on time.  
The trainer never ended up certifying me on the internal certification which left me concerned as MANY employees just operate another machine on their own free will.  No training given, except on the jiggers & Raymond Reach.

Lets get the elephant out of the room first. The work here is not at all tiring as compared to similar warehouses. The pay rate is the best among other warehouse jobs. The workers, supervisors, management, everyone is kind, respectful and always ready to help. All these might sound superficial, but its true. I have worked in 3 different warehouses, and this is the place where I feel like working. 

I didn’t have any complaints or warnings involving my work ethic there, always did overtime when it was available etc. and they let me go my last day of probation with the excuse of “unable to perform work duties” or something along those when no supervisors mentioned about anything I needed to improve on or anything and as far as I was aware they were all happy with my work. Never did get a realistic answer from them just seemed like they used me to help fill a spot for time being then fired me when they didn’t need me 

Good money. This job is not for everyone. Only for tough people as it is physically challenging. You need to work without supervision. But cameras are there if you are not working. You can make mistakes and no problem. Foremen gives you directions if asked, are there for you. Crime is not to respect the punch time. Company invests in people. Don't be lazy, work hard and you can stay there forever.

Lack of  safety an Repairs  machinery has  broke an  almost takin lives  numerous Employees with years of  seniority` left with back issues in need of surgeries an let go due to so  its jus an all around bad place to be  If your health  an safety or lack of respect or care for your life  or a management that jus makes u another #  is what your looking for then this is the place for you 

You really have to be comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures for long periods of time with little rest. Great employee's, helpful managers and clear sense of direction and purpose in the work place. The hardest part of the job is getting used to the equipment and being efficient in the workplace.

Out of all of the companies I have worked in this is a company that really respects you as an employee you do not get micro-managed and they appreciate the efforts you put in. The workplace environment is very friendly where no one is stepping on anyone's toes and there is good team work.

Start each day by selecting a machine, work huddle and then receive work orders. orders are done in pairs/teams to complete for designated loading door. after each completed order, report to supervisor and receive new instructions. Instructions could be from picking, loading, replenish inventory and putting away inventory.
