I only worked in the edmonton branch 3 days as a forklift operator and walked out as i had enough of the managers arrogancy and lack of professionalism and his insults towards myself.  I have been using a forklift for over 20 years and he has the nerve to tell me i am not a forklift driver.  He tells me he has no time to adequately train me as he has to reach his deadlines so instead of this he throws you to the wolves and either you sink or swim.  He doesnt care either way So if you want to make mistakes and are too slow for his liking do not apply unless you want to be treated like a child when he runs you down.

I worked there for about 3 years, definitely added a huge amount of experience and knowledge to my career. If you expect to be able to slack off and underperform, this place is not for you. The company is family owned/managed which has its positives and negatives. The company has an overall micromanaged environment which is very uncomfortable. Most managers are understanding and supportive which is nice to have. 

Although your able to work autonomously for the most part, there is always a feeling of a revolving door and its only a matter of time before your out the door. This was by far the biggest problem. I "lasted 6 years" there, and was one of the longest tenured behind some lifers who were with the company for decades. I did learn a lot from the President directly, but he can be quite volatile at times.
Co workers were always great to work with. 

Your typical warehouse job though with a very small staff. Management can be very unprofessional and not understanding when it comes to outside-of-work situations. Pay is not that great nor are the benefits though the job is easy if you come to work, mind your own business, and just get the job done. Due to the very small on-site staff, no room for advancement really - only one office job plus the manager position. Hard-workers are shown some appreciation such as the opportunity to learn the fork-lift and a "thank you" here and there.

Busy work environment and the day passes by very fast because of it. Friendly environment but not suited for people who are used to slow paced work places. If you are motivated, smart and a hard worker there is possibility of advancement. Employees that show interest can learn how to drive a forklift and electric pallet jack. Performance bonuses for those who meet certain targets. Good benefits and free pizza every once in a while.

The company was overall good.The workplace was quite good.It was a great experience working with conglom.Staaf members were  friendly including the boss. The company was very well organised Impressive thing about conglom was that it aims at providing equal opportunities and chances to everyone without any discrimination on the basis of colour,country or religion.I loved the hygiene and cleanliness.

Working there is great if you love what you do, but upper management will yell and scream at their employees even if it's them who are wrong. Lots of aggression, little thanks, but the job itself is very structured and organized. The training process could be improved on.

Good company to work for, I was hired very quickly, but lacking a good Supervisor, unfortunately costing me my job.
Friendly atmosphere to work young and vibrant themes, nice building and a diversity of people, good location close to Techno Park, gym on site.

Don't ask questions and be agreable.  Then you may last longer.
Stable work, fills your day, day passes quickly.  Don;t expect to be spoken to by co-workers.  Everyone keeps to themselves.
Uncomfortable for that reason.

Pros:  Large, nice new building.  Comfortable spacious work stations.

Conglom is a poorly managed organization. I worked there and saw that employees have to suffer due to mismanagement of seniors. There is not enough space in this warehouse but they still keep receiving products even when they have no idea where they will stock them. If something goes wrong, they blame the employees as it is easier than improving their infrastructure and management.
