Working at Constructive Solutions was a valuable and fast-paced experience where I had the opportunity to sharpen my administrative and dispatching skills. I managed daily scheduling for field staff, coordinated with clients, and ensured operations ran smoothly, often under tight deadlines. The role required strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills, which helped me grow professionally.

The team was collaborative, and I appreciated the trust placed in me to manage key responsibilities independently. Like many roles in construction, it came with high-pressure moments, but I found it rewarding to be part of a company that played an active role in connecting skilled tradespeople with meaningful work across the city.

Constructive Solutions is a great fit for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

A typical day at work , is always making sure the ride works properly before people get on. I learned that safety is the most important thing at work , making sure that the ride operates right. So i had to operate the ride first before anyone gets on. Management , making sure the ride is secure and that the people that get on the ride that there secured right. The workplace is always busy and sometimes I had to operate 2 rides at a time. The hardest thing I would say that telling some people that they wouldn't be able to ride the rides if they were pregnant. I'm not a rude person , but the rides have a weight limit and its not safe for pregnant people to ride the rides nor people that exceed the weight limit. I think that the most enjoyable thing about the job is seeing people having fun , i like making people happy and smile and make sure they had fun. Thats what always puts a smile on my face.

The staff is very understanding and good about making sure people get work

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Work not being available for days on end sometimes and the winter when work slows down

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mostly good...however some people do have addiction issues which makes teamwork a little more difficult...
But the office staff is pretty good at sussing it out...

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hopefully you get a job that ends up in a repeat job...
But you work, mostly with really good contractors and then go back to the office at end of day to collect your pay

the work starts early in the morning and ends after 9 hours . in my work place i have learned some skills like painting and the managment is generally excellent.the work place caluture is really nice for there are different groups of people with different skills to work with .The hardest part of the job is when you work out door and the temperature reaches very low and the environment becomes slippery that some times exposes you to fall.the most enjoyable part of the job is related to the different languages spoken in the work place for I love meeting new people.

Management is excellent, and personable, however, wages are woefully inadequate, as well as questionable screening with temporary employees, who tend to show up to work semi-intoxicated or sleep deprived (therefore introducing real danger to the workplace)

Work culture can be toxic when the wrong mix of people are deployed to various clients workplaces.

Perhaps better screening and a slight increase in wages would alleviate this problem.

If you are dispatched to a new location, the task to be completed is provided upon request or onsite. Dress for the weather, hope you guess correctly and your PPE is appropriate. 
Can gain experience or try in a new field. If you like the work and are offered a repeat, , to work the next shift, can be rewarding.

I found this to be a great place to work. The only negative is the pay although it is higher than most others in this field. Would recommend
for all new comers to the construction field or those looking to get back into it. Management is five stars *****

There have been so many days where I showed up 5:30am on the dot and waited for 3 hours to be told there is no work. The employees are mostly addicts, junkies or people who just can't hold a real job. If you do get work, it's mostly bottom-of-the-barrel labour. Only do this as a last resort if you absolutely need the cahs.

There's always work...if you want to get paid daily or weekly its your choice. Also they get you to and from workplaces .... You need to have safety equipment,  sometimes they will provide it.

Demolition, load and offload, cleaning and delivery

Standing and squatting for 8 hours
