What is the best part of working at the company?
I have been with Contact for over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. From day one, the facility's cleanliness and organization stood out—a refreshing change from previous shops and a detail I truly value.

The lab environment is fast-paced, which keeps the work engaging. This is supported by a dedicated QA team that ensures processes are not only followed but continuously improved. It’s clear that the company prioritizes quality and efficiency.

Management is another standout feature. Ownership is approachable and genuinely encourages a healthy work-life balance, which can be rare in this industry. Furthermore, their willingness to invest time and resources into streamlining operations shows a long-term commitment to the company's success. Overall, the team is positive and easygoing, making it a fantastic place to work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Time sensitive jobs that need to be done under a tight timeline.

I’ve been with Contact Instruments for a while and it’s been a really rewarding experience watching how much the company has evolved. When I first started, it had more of a small, family-run atmosphere, good people, but not a lot of structure or clear processes. Over the past couple of years though, I’ve seen incredible growth and professionalization. There’s now a proper HR team, organized management, and well-defined policies and procedures that make day-to-day operations much smoother.
What stands out most to me is the focus on building a supportive, policy-driven culture where employees have room to grow. I’ve personally seen advancement opportunities and feel that leadership is headed in a positive, sustainable direction. It’s a workplace that’s finding the right balance between keeping its friendly roots and becoming a more organized, modern company.

My experience at Contact Instruments has been pretty solid. The management team is down to earth and supportive. The work is fast pace and never boring. I feel, I have been trusted to play a valuable role which i take more seriously with the clear opportunities provided to me.  I would recommend Contact to anyone looking to be apart of company full of amazing people and technical skills to acquire. 

I was lucky enough to be hired as the first machinist at Contract. I spent a year getting a few processes worked out and left once a couple of other machinists were hired. Ownership was fantastic and allowed me to do what I needed to do to get the machine shop in working order. The shop is very clean and very well organized. Everyone was easy to work with and all of the equipment was very well maintained and in good working order.

Management relay on people hear say system. No room for growth and development,High turnover rate not systematic  because older employees believe that they are the best.

The work is boring and overtime is the only way to make any money.  It is expected to work Saturdays and they won’t hire any more help.  Rush this & rush that = bad management.
