I thoroughly enjoyed working in this place because of the fact that the work is fun and busy, employees were absolutely respectful towards me. management was extremely supportive in everything except the training part.
Unionized team members are really arrogant at times ( mostly few of the senior employees)
For every this and that they will start to grieve on the supervisor and management.
Work ethics among the union team members are pathetic and most of the time they take things for granted.
My team was absolutely amazing when they came to understand my way of leading them and dealing with issues.

Working in this company was all good except for the management. The management was not fair, they would force over time upon the employees which was not optional. A Typical day at work would be lifting kegs with slow scanning systems. I learned how to do the job and speed up the process by learning short cuts with orders. The hardest part of the job was the forced over time because we had no choice, but to do it. The most enjoyable part of the job was the employees and how they all worked as a team. They would keep positive throughout everything.

We are a leading niche service provider to the beverage alcohol industry of Western Canada. We also handle commodities compatible to the beverage market - juices, water, confectionary - we strive for vertical market integration.

In Canada ,this was my first job. what i am today, only because of this job

nothing, i never felt stress working there

all days were same, enjoyed every single day

My employment with, Container World is through a Emplyment Agency Adecco.
There were Co-workers, and Manager at Container World I work with in the years' past.
There was realy nothing difficult about cleaning house at Container World.
Enjoyable times work at Container World, is working with all the employee and Management.

They abuse a lot of immigrants and students.
A lot of temporary staff is abused until the staff moves on.  The management knows this but don't care. Their business model is built on low temporary salaries.


Managers expect you to stay overtime for no extra compensation. Zero accountability work environment, people blame each other instead of working out a solution. Gossiping, nit-picking other's work is very common here. 

Below upper management everything is fine. Management is so disconnected from the rest of company, it's laughable.
As supervisor you are between union and company, both trying to screw each other, nothing is ever good for both sides.

not a good place if you are looking for growth.   very political environment.  nepotism is rampant. you can get ahead and be secure of your job if you are a friend of the boss.

Overall,  is a decent job. Good pay for student, they are also very flexible when it comes to students. There is always work, minimum hour for a day is 8 hours. Students can only work 24 hours a week.
