Alberta winter, alberta roads need work,  hard on the trucks

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Normal, working there they try to accomodate the fossill fuel industry on  a scale including driver qualifications for different company site deliveries in the fossil fuel industry

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Trick driver day, every day, & company bbq durring summer

easy to follow system of work
driver lounge and basic necessities available for employees.
Acheson is conveniently located next to Edmonton.
easy access to all the major highways.
yard is small
gated and safe for vehicles parking.
Overall,
A Good company.

Working diligently to be the best but often coming up short due to all the usual problems facing trucking companies.  A good group of well intention-ed and qualified people on staff.  Due to the daily challenge of keeping trucks moving and drivers happy the company has become mostly operationally focused with the customer coming in at least 2nd to the needs of keeping the fleet on track to meet monthly per mile quotas and company budgets.

Great company, great money and benefits. Dispatch is an issue with everyone. they keep one very busy but empathy and morals for some issues can be off a bit. long weeks of work and very tough for time off in busy cycles, makes it tough for some drivers. can keep one out and away from loads to home area

What a nice people I will always love you I have worked for them and I had a very good experience Dispach is good safety guys are nice. They always helped me about advance pay and any kind of repairs even I was owner operator they always share fuel subsidies paid plates and insurance. I had to quit because of my family reasons

They suck,  after running for 3 months I almost owed them money,  they charged me for 2 sets of decals made me sit up in yellow knife for 3 days at a time waiting for a load instead of running down to high level to get a backhaul and no pay for sitting,  just a terrible company to work for 

Treatment from management leave much to be desired, safety for other roads users should be questioned if you should decide to work here. Management only sees profit, in its employees, aside from that you will be expendable.

enjoyed pulling the various trailers ie super bees and float trialers for equipment moves, alot of oversize stuff, my favorite part of working there was the oversize moves with permits and escorts.

Good environment except for little to no time for family. As a single parent it is vital for me to have time with my teenage child during the tricky years of life.

going up and down fort mac /and NWT .Ontario
pipes loads ,ice road, over dimensions load. very good compagnie take good care of their driver salary is ok and try to accommodate everyone
