Gained immeasurable amount of knowledge from bosses who were open to helping employees advance.

Working with certain unmotivated people.

Mostly very knowledgeable, professional and caring. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start with a basic setup/calibration of equipment, then dive into building products as well as participating in designing custom projects.

i would be at warehouse at 7 a.m i would go to my saw clean it and make sure it was running fine.i would set up my wood that i would need till lunch and cut all the pieces that i laid out same for afternoon.i learned that worplace safety should be a priority.management at this job site was okay.my co-workers were also ok u dont really mingle there its more your given a job and u go to it by yourself.the hardest part of the job was the repetivness of it.the easiest thing about it was that i knew what i was doing everyday

Corcan sucked working they call it a place for Aboriginal people and community but there is not one managment employees that is native and they have a Forman  instructor that both are rude negative petty and arrogant to the aboriginal employees that work there they put down there workera and try to make the workers are stupid and if you try to stand up for your self they team up on you and send you home without pay

A day at work will include two hours on one area of building a computer desk, tables, chairs, you are encouraged to work with others, so I did that, the hardest part of job is no possibilities for advancement and ei eligibility. The best part of the job was how much I learned and how many different jobs there were to do

The work there changes from day to day, some good people, one of the supervisors is an old guy, not a good person to younger people (esp. to Trans individuals) he seems alright at first just don't let him fool you, he won't change his idea of you if you're going to work there just don't ask him for to many things he'll start complaining.

My typical day at work consist of me just getting there and preparing my work so that's it's done properly and in a timely manner manner. I like being organized and on time. Scheduling and being on time is a huge demand in myself when it comes to anything.

Day would start at 8:00 am.  I would log into the computer, then figure out what needed to be done that day.  The bosses were easy to work with and for and they  were readily available if I had questions.  I  worked mostly alone and unsupervised. There was little of the job that was not easy to do.

When i was hired on to work at Corcan. I was expecting to have to learn on my own. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all members of the staff were willing and able to help in any way that they could. Also the staff and managers of the facility were very respectful and courtious.

I enjoyed my time working with this company, as it really helped me find my place well with in the company. The boss was awesome and respectful, and helped me learn and ajust to the work there. An must if you,ve never heard of it before...

from managing day to day tasks and supervising makin sure the job is done correctly and on time and properly to the customers satifacation so then this way the customer can give a overall rating
